Reward: 1450g and 20 Oak Timber.
Total time spent -- about 10 minutes.

Yes. There's a secure trade system that you can use to trade something worth 100g, but no way to do it for a house, which is absurdly expensive...

Add secure house trading first. Inconceivable that this isn't in the game yet.
How about just reducing the material costs for housing other than cottages? Why does a house need to be double the cost of a cottage?
