I think adding spell extensions to relics that stack with the current spell extension system could be good, like you could have double speed, double jump, double damage on a spell, but I don't see anything wrong with the current spell extension system, in fact I quite like it, you get to pick how your spell works. I don't know how many relic slots there will be but if there isn't a lot of slots it will just remove choice from the game, every1 will be stuck the same apart from 1 spell. Has any1 even complained about the spell extension system? I have never heard or seen it.
Yeah, leave the spell extensions alone please. Removing stuff (that nobody complained about) is usually a very very bad idea. We have learned about it ye? And #BringBackTheBlackBolt
It’s because they are removing something we have and then adding them back in to relics and calling it content. Leave extensions alone!
They gotta stop removing shit just to put it back later up side down that does not make sense. Start adding new things to the game. Hint later "content" combat patch was a joke
I haven't read every post in this thread but I get the feeling BPG is looking at making even more changes to combat. Leave. Combat. Alone. Stop talking about it, stop hinting at it being a priority, stop thinking about combat changes. It should not be ANYWHERE on the developers' radar right now if we're all being serious about what this game needs most to boost population.
Meh... BPG trying to shoehorn everything into relics I wish they would instead focus on the real fundamental issues that might actually increase population and new players significantly They seem to keep procrastinating and pushing back important big changes for easier little ones that relatively few people are going to care about enough to return for. And its been going like this for a LONG time.
I would like to see clan plat play a huge roll in sieges. Give cities perks you can buy with plat and better buildings offer better perks. Perks can have different costs per hour so good ones are super expensive and you have to save up your points if you know you are going to need a perk. Some city perks could be: A barrier protects your walls from anyone launching in. Forcing the attackers to destroy a hole in the wall. Plat can be used to pay to keep your guard tower activated. increase city notification range increase output on resource nodes within a certain range(paymore for more) NPC guards to stand on your flametowers and fuck shit up Also to integrate it more into sieges. Once your city runs out of plat all the defensive features are deactivated. Create some sort of resource that a city(with plat and not being sieged) can produce that has to be transported to the seiged city if you need more plat there. Let the attackers blockade cities to prevent plat deliveries and it will force the defenders to organize and deliver clan plat to replenish the sieged city. Once a siege is dropped the defenders can no longer at plat to that city the normal way but now have to start doing deliveries. This will favor clans having fewer holdings because the ones they dont generate plat at will be super easy to lose.
I dont care how or what you do to change combat. As long as I can still run around and lose expensive bags cause bow/melee is life.
So removing the speed upgrade and not tweaking he AI to side step less will feel really bad man. That 40% speed increase is almost the same as a 33.334% accuracy buff.
What about relics that have all 3 upgrades can you suffer till it drops? --- Post updated --- What about a list of upcoming relics so we can give proper feedback.
So am I reading this right..u just plan on removing spell perks to put it on relics.. If so why?? I hope I’m wrong cause it’s laughable to think that any imagination was put in to this.. Code other people’s ideas..seems u have none...I should not have to go on about how to prove this.. Palms face..
