    Fall dmg revert is so short sighted. How quickly people forget how stupid taking 100 fall dmg too a hither in a fight is. If all the hardcore bangers were playing right now they'd be abusing the hell out of it but because they're not people seem to forget how aids it is.

    Removing sprain is one thing...but the OP fall dmg if magma hithered or hithered on terrain is just cheesy asf

    There will be plenty of other ways to take advantage of heightened impact dmg in fights. IE Stormblasted off a little hill side, lol cool free 100 dmg dont even have to aim. Not to mention it seems impulse is mostly a pure punishment to the user now. It's a change that needed no attention, just makes the pvp feel worse and raises opportunity for moe cheese related problems than anything it fixes. (What was it supposed to fix anyway that warranted the change??)

    the only thing ppl was asking for was the removal of sprain. theres not a SINGLE person asking for fall damage increase (dfo numbers). so pls stop trolling the thread

    the thread is about adept @Neilk u know its not working for weeks right?

    I am not saying I want these things, I am just asking questions - so let's not make less intelligent assumptions.

    Is begone behaviour the same as in DFO?
    Do we have shrapnel as in DFO instead of impulse?
    Are light battlespikes used again to hop?

    Maybe all of this was brought back but it's on some patchnotes not available in the forums?
    Walk us through it.

    Begone is still nerfed (Much weaker than 75 begone of DFO).
    Impulse is still in the game. Can't really remember if there's anything different from shrapnel mechanics wise other than lower cast time/maybe cooldown.
    Light spikes were replaced by a new item.
    Come hither still gives featherfall (No fall damage from next fall).

    Bunnyhopping is back to DFO status in that if you do take damage, you'll take either 30ish (it's a % of max HP, so somewhere in the 29-32 range typically) or 90 damage.

    but now its just impossible get a zero dmg when ure begoning. at least with 4 level of begone.

    You're joking right? Literally every nerd that didn't like sprain asked for it.

    There are videos out there of players bhopping MILES in DF1. If you aim your begone correctly, you can hop at speed without taking any damage. Everybody is out of practice though, so the tears are a' flowin'.

    I know not everyone browses discord, but BPG is offering a one time de-level for begone impulse per account.

    You do know you can parry the come hither. Unless you are predisabled well then that’s a good combo! If he can predisable you, then land a magma, and then a come hither, he deserves the 130 total damage.

    Any time you take damage hopping, you would have taken damage when sprain was in. The difference being, damage sits at 30 the entire time, rather than ramping up from 16-36 based on number of hops and velocity/angle. You currently only take 90 with high velocity going down hills, so you would need to begone down a hill to take that much. And you could also take 90 when sprain was in, in very specific situations.

    You can also take zero damage with begone, grenades, shrapnel, or stormblast. It just depends how much velocity you want to sacrifice. You can have high velocity going up a slight hill and take zero damage. (All level 5)

    also i challenge you to currently begone taking zero damage on roa.. u can ask rex or any other with a brain on bw to try that.

    try take no damage bunnyhoping atm.

    also a small dif on terrain can give u 90 fall damage as a gift.

    like i said NO ONE asked for it.

    Personally, I'm really happy to see sprain removed and I think going back to the old damage numbers on hopping makes sense. The lesser damage was only added to make it take longer before you break your ankle.

    i appreciate ur return but u got a 30 dmg and after that a super slow begone.

    we're considering it a way to escape from mounted zerg?

    also u tried impulse and battlespike too?
