thats a fair point about the markets.
But I feel like if you want to attack anyone/everywhere...thats fine but you should be turning red. It wouldn't really deter many but it would be a good perk for non pvpers.

Also IMO pvp should not be the main focus of the game. We would maintain a healthy pop with lots of types of players not just heavy pvpers. The game being too pvp focused is why we have always struggled with population aside from a couple moments in history like the current one.

We must have areas where players are noticed for killing their own kind.

There must be ways for new players, young players, and bad players to interact with one another without feeling ostracized for doing so.

The game needs a fluent way for a community to be built, and the current system has issues.

A proper alignment system can put these players together and allow them to enjoy their time with one another, and keep the vets/reds against each other and away from the noobs, barring some exceptions such as glory seekers and attention.. needers. Griefers you can call them.

    So what do we need.

    1. A shroud, a blanket, a status, that players are automatically a part of but may fluidly opt in and out of every so often.
    2. Separation of players who are opted out of number 1, not by PUNISHING THEM, but through ENCOURAGEMENT to STAY AWAY by making the areas that these shrouded players sit in not profitable or enjoyable for them.
    3. A way to enforce this separation by way of in-game systems such as TCS, so that the PLAYERS DETERMINE WHAT IS ENCOURAGEMENT.

not really innocent, if you happen to be in the territory of a guild they have ownership of then that means you are trespassing and or stealing.
That would mean you are in fact a criminal and they should not incur a penalty for defending they're territory

well I agree that would be an improvement but thats not what we have today. I would like a TC system like that but still I would not want lawless areas...only lawless in your own TC so you dont take penalty for killing trespassers.

Holdings are designed that the owner is able to control whether it is public or private and maintain their own whitelist/blacklist as well. They fought and took the territory so they get to choose what happens there.

There is a bug related to alignment loss in holdings we're working on. In addition the dueling issue we'll look at an option as a duel request possibly.
