LOL KEEP WASTING UR LIFE MORON AHAHA Imagine having a company go from 'We will never wipe this game' to 'if we wipe its gonna be during a big patch (embers of war?) or be a last ditch effort (soon tm). Also before you and your nerdy loser friends get excited for the wipe, just remember where we are now and how we've been going down hill ever since launch. It will happen 4x as fast the second time around. This company doesn't have the skills, ideas, or iq level to actually keep a game like this afloat let alone make it successful.
Whether you truly believe this or are just embracing your role as a troll, Roa has been running nearly 3 years now. All things considered, BPG seems quite successful keeping 'a game like this afloat' lol.
In the games current state a wipe is beyond pointless, it would require loads of content and economy / loot changes for a wipe to even be worth considering. It wont balance things out like people hope, the same people will end up with stacked banks as b4 and loot will be just as pointless, sure there might be a couple good months (although I feel like they fucked up combat somewhat) but after that it will be back to normal.
Keeping a game running doesn't mean its successful, and they are hardly keeping it 'afloat'. How many unique names do you run into every day? 20? 30? 50? How many kills/ganks are there on agon metrics? A "MASSIVE MULTIPLAYER ONLINE ROLE PLAYING GAME" that boasts those numbers. There are more kills/ganks in a single round of competitive CS than there are in an entire day some days in this MMORPG. Take off your rose tinted glasses. The fact you can still stand by them while they are holding an empty can of gasoline and an extinguished match and pretend like things are okay while the building burns down makes me lose faith in humanity. They've been lying since launch and are still lying on the forums and discord nearly every day, and you still sit there and give them money. I'll pray for you cursed souls, and I hope you come to a realization before the ship goes under water.

You don't have to try to move the goal posts my dude. We can debate semantics all day, but we're coming up on 3 years of ROA, and the game is still alive. All things considered, ROA is still 'afloat', even with all the negativity that gets spewed around here all day every day. Is it in great shape population wise? I don't think anyone would argue that the numbers are where BPG wants them. But you know what doesn't help? Coming on the forums/discord/twitch streams bad mouthing BPG, bad mouthing ROA 24/7. I'll take the rose tinted glasses off once you stop sucking on lemons.
