Yeah SweetFX if done right makes DF look quite a lot nicer. There's a ton of customization options too. Streamers should definitely use it so their viewers can actually see something at night.

The preset by sodapop is way too bright on my monitor but it's quite easy to just try stuff out yourself. My first try made everything a bit too bright and the SMAA messed a bit with the font. It looked something like this:



For a while I ran with a very nice profile then I uninstalled everything for a while cus I had to switch installation directory and stuff but I've been meaning to redo that and if I do I can share it for people if they want it. It makes the game sharper, not so dark at night and makes places like ork and mahirim lands less red and more light colored. Here's a fullscreen screenshot of it:

set your gamma correction in dfo.. to 1.0 ninogan

not much too it.. set your shader to ps3 and everything maxed out and gamma to 1.0

When I try this, the d3d9.dll that is created in the RoA install directory crashes my lobby after few seconds, does this not happen with you guys?

Worked fine for me untill i tryed to start my alt account at the same time i got patcherror and retryed and the game gave me a lobby error had to delete my dfroa folder and reinstall to get it to work again

I meant your sweetfx setting ?

 

If you try and run two clients at once with SweetFX you'll get troubles. Just delete the .dll that sweetfx made and it will be fine.

 

What setting is for coolers ? Feel like his setting is to lean coolers like a bit exaggerated coolers like your picture

 

Welp I tried to get this to work, but I could never get the preset to load...idk I messed some shit up and about 30 min. I fucked up my df folders somehow rofl! So I'm reinstalling df and by the looks at it I won't be playing for a long ass time...SICK I give myself a 10/10
