All you could do, is make an announcement saying AHK isn't allowed to be used. They could try to block it, but with two steps these blocks can be bypassed, just like in other games! EAC is made by Epic, I'm sure their software can identify patterns. My guess is players are flagged for being suspicious , and then monitored by EAC. Fortnite has a huge problem, due to the amount of players they have to do with, so banning a cheater may take months! On ROA, it should be a lot faster! I don't know how EAC works, but I'm sure it's more than capable of detecting cheaters! If you suspect a cheater, use the ingame reporting system!
Because AHK has other, legit uses. Like binding keys on your mouse that are not recognized in game. Also there is and will always be a list of software that would replace AHK. Again - I'd rather see skills/spells (mostly rays) with no travel time (instantly delivered when button is released) removed to make aimbotting not efficient no matter the tools/software one uses. Imagine archer with aimbot - it would be disadvantage instead of advantage because arrow needs time after release to reach its target. And to all that think that the game would be then less skillful - bullshit, it would be the other way around. There is nothing skillful in shooting rays compared to hitting flying targets with rockets in quake. Same would happen here - bolts would become new rays. Less cheating, higher ceiling.
Give me aimbot and fight me as a destroyer and tell me im at a disadvantage. Youre right though arrow travel will be a factor but not if im pegging you within ray range. Not that I need an aimbot because I NEVER miss. Anyone who says otherwise is a liar

It's absurd to me that you think that people who use it will not switch to something else providing same functionality the moment AHK is banned. As long as there is mechanic within the game that can be easily abused people will abuse it. I start to suspect that the strongest advocates for AHK removal are players who use something else to cheat already.

The bunny hop script was just a troll in df. But actually aim bot - Dan made a real bunny hop script in RoA in ahk that worked flawlessly on flat ground. So it can be done lol but only on flat ground.
I was skeptical at first because of "black pixel" but hes using infernal, I think the bloodcraft ribbon and what looks like something on FP. The infernal is definitely a more isolated colour, IDK about FP but it looked like it worked pretty good to me.
Gotta love the hackusations. But yes, ban ahk. You dont have to be a pro scripter to use ahk in ways to get an advantage.
The game has all the tools necessary for out of game script programs to be unneccessary. Just brush up on the parry and ray selection features then ban AHK and any programs like it.
