Granted I haven't played CSGO for at least 4 years, but last time I did it literally wouldn't let me log into multiplayer until I turned off my AHK script that I used for DFUW so I didn't have to use right click to activate things on the right hotbar slots. I also had autoit running which gave me a red dot in the center of my screen (this was back when wobble was in UW) so MAYBE it was that. Either way i'm not lying. And I never said it was bannable I said it literally would lock you out of playing if you were running AHK. If that's not the case NOW that doesn't mean it never was. The point is CSGO figured out a way to not let you play while running AHK or Autoit and they probably did it for a reason. I'm not surprised YOU are defending the use of third party programs though.
its funny that some of the good players are in here defending ahk when it lowers the skill ceiling lmfaoooooooo.
I use a program called SharpKeys to change CapsLock to F15 and left windows key to F13. --- Post updated --- What can i say more... Yo BPG (we all know someone in the staff is reading anyway), My suggestion to circumvent the color detection aimbot: Release the armour skin patch: dyes, etc., etc. Make dyes available in the store; skins too: the rainbow Helmet; the aurora borealis pants and all that good jazz. I would love to see that ahk color aimbot seeking rainbows... Thank me later.
No I don't use that either. Again, GUI should be able to everything that people use AHK for. Then AHK goes away naturally. You could ban it, or not, and it would be the same. If someone wants a potion timer there are a million ways to get one. You can't stop someone from having a potion timer. So it might as well be built into the game. Or just don't worry about it? That's the other very valid option.
As for csgo I have seen wall hacks and aim bots go undetected by the anti cheating software. the way they catch it is by haveing a normal player watch the game footage (a lot like watching a Rex video ) and the player will flag the video as suspect then forward the footage back to the dev team. I think it’s hard to tell just like in frannys video when he said he was useing it and it looked somewhat normal. The best thing for Av to do is to keep fixing the things people use scripts for and slowly make them obsolete. That being said when can we expect tab target ? @bpg @Av
AHK should be banned...eventually. Franchise's video (that is now deleted) was the last straw for me. I don't really care about potion timers and what not, but a third-party program that gives you access to a more responsive game than another player that puts you at an advantage over other players is where I have an issue. But to your point Obee, there's still a bunch of shit in the game's GUI that needs to be fixed. Parrying, for one, doesn't always work, and I've heard people complain about rays. I've never had a problem with rays, but I've also never used a script for anything, so I can't really compare. For example, with the parrying problem (11:00 in @Jean-Claude most recent video) My parry fails, then fails again before finally working, but then for some reason, I get stuck in place. The only reason I'm able to get away (admittedly, briefly) is because I take a magma to the face and get knocked into the air. Otherwise I would have been stuck there. Might be two separate issues, but I've heard parry macros fix that problem. I could have taken a pair of rays to the face (for between 60 and 80 damage probably) before my parry started working. That kind of stuff can't happen in a game like Darkfall. It is the difference between winning and losing a fight.
last time i logged in to csgo (6 months ago) kids still bhop scripped with ahk and my ahk scripts didnt stop me from logging in either
All I know is the in game auto parry fails constantly. Literally loses me fights. I don’t use AHK but I completely get why people do. They should really fix their game.
