ky ky won the first tourney on EU with NA ping, and after transfers no one ever went back to eu server. It was always euros coming to NA because we had the more populated server, never the other way around. So to say we never did well on the EU server, its simply because no one decent ever transferred to the dead euro trash server.
As someone who dueled almost everyone on EU, there were so many top tier duelers at the end who I'd bet around 50/50 vs each other like: myself, Kal, Xzyzz, Pure, Kap, Tristan, Dante, Fusion, Kebab, Helm, Snyggve Fulson (most unknown and underrated guy ever), Beyond, Sebastian, Deja vuu(?) I know I've missed out a few but a fair few of EU players had reached the top of the meta for a while and dueling got boring. As for destro / heavy players exclusively it was a different story and I could write a new list. As for NA, I don't know so much about it but it seems the majority of 'top tiers' were still a tier behind luck and the vast majority didn't know how to play destro or against it.
At least a few mages (rex and lovely for starters) smashed luck in 1v1 "duels" he was just a beast open world where terrain/bhopping/survival was part of the fight

Im not saying he was the best, and i dont even remember the name, but that dude from Swiss, was a beast! Alwaysa in small clans, always outnumbered and very VERY often on top. Anyone remember the name? I've been looking for his videos but without the name its a bit hard...
Thanks for the kindest mention, but by this time id disagree, i had almost quit at this point, when i rejoined z5 after i came back after like a 6 month break or something, i was getting rolled by pretty much everybody. However when i was playing alot (Get Good days) there wasn't many fights me and fusion lost tbh. On topic, best eu player? Dominated for the longest? Easily my little Alex. However in the time i wasnt as active there were people challenging that title. Xz was always one of the best but dropped of also, Finnad really destroyed when he arrived, Dante had his moment when he was unbeatable also, Mr. Sorano was consistantly good, Tristan after everybody had quit and of course the great Asgrim Blackforge.
I guess we are talking about who was the best dueler really and not the best player. As far as I see it the best players were the ones who actually mattered in a groupfight and in warfare. People like Fenix, Ellianor, Heldana and a few others who basicly carried a clan by their behind the scenes workings. As far as fighting goes I think a few of the most consistent players out there and who stuck out in terms of fighting was Helmbreaker, Ostara/Ninja Style duo, Speed Lovaah and a few more. 1v1 was never of much importance since 1v1 never really happened. People who carried fights with teamplay are the ones you remember. There was alot of good players out there, in their own way. A team full of awesomefusion would end up like a football team of Zlatans. It would just fall apart in the end due to the mentality. I do however agree that EU had a higher skillceiling in general than NA. I played both servers (under aliases) and 99% of the NA players got their asses handed to them even with 120 ping.
We can start off by taking by taking banka and john b of that list cuz they are swedish. So a swiss dude of those 3 is most likely "Lady Die".
