So this means two things

2. he is hacking
you can see this in his stickybacks. He is straight up sprinting when the person is figure 8ing while the above avg destro and even the best like luck will take a step back and cut the person off to gain more ground in this video if you go to 6.19 he is just running with behind you doing 180s

 

Bird's melee is 100% exactly the same from UW, and there were arguably better sticky backers in UW. Though with that said bird had a great sticky in UW too.

 

UW was a lot slower and easier to melee in though

i actually feel like dfo's melee is easier, arc is wider tbh

 

Melee is easier in DFO than DFUW because the models are more synced up and this isn't "INHUMAN REACTION TIMES" bird has good reaction times but he is just relying on his speed and accuracy to not lose distance and deal damage you have to fault the defensive player having bad movement that is predictable more than him following most of the time he is just guessing before they even move there so it looks like he tracked them.
