Grim isn't supreme general (not that the rank really means anything), he's major I think. And Bo didn't talk to anybody before giving you a price. Anyway, no need to argue, what happened happened, hopefully it doesn't happen next time. We definitely need to work on that aspect
Instinct, Little Dolphins, and the few brutal guys weren't there against Blackwater. We were scroatching, we killed all parties. Just based on the angle we rolled up on, Blackwater + Against All Odds (and a few other scroatchers) took the brunt. After Gentlemen collapsed we had to fight them too.
The Gentle Rafts were deployed last night, here's a screen shot of around half of the Gentlemen force that attended (plus a few allies that sailed with us!) Very fun! --- Post updated --- Not the most exciting spot for footage, but control of that ridge was crucial from a strategic standpoint – things could have been much different.
To be clear, KT, MMM, Darkside are all allied clans prior to the siege, Brutal was not friendly even though they did hurt your attack as we fought them as well. I cannot speak about the terms of gentlemen and Putin, oh and Against all odds was a part of our alliance also til this weekend so they helped just cause they were still in alliance when siege was dropped.
I know it's been said but just confirming more that Brutal, Instinct, and Little Dolphins were not associated with us at all, they scroached on their own. Gentlemen, Asylum, and Putin wanted to help and were not hired. Before we had help we only had maybe 16 or 17 online, due to it being a late night Sunday siege, when Blackwater came to take down walls. Without the help it would've been a sweep, as most of our actives were new players. GF to Blackwater, we were an easy target and worked hard to provide a fight.
I think the strategy and stone placement is what actually hurt Blackwater more, ya they were outnumbered but they put stones under a ledge that could be controlled and nukes dropped even in this game having the high ground is a big advantage Better stone placement would have improved the chances of a victory substantially
From what I've seen you seem to think there was some malicious intent in my choosing Angfrost as a siege target. It simply comes down to we've outgrown Tughri as an alliance and I saw Angfrost as a good new home. Close to friends with a lot of good spawns around it. I knew nothing concrete about your clan or alliance and also didn't care you just happened to own the city I wanted. It wasn't about the bigger guy bullying the little guy. Honestly I thought you were allied to Absolution as I was told you were there helping against Bloodline so I figured it would be a good AvA fight. --- Post updated --- Having the high ground is a huge disadvantage now actually. Them dank yanks.
It's all in the video, you're not fooling anyone. Owning up to it would've been your best option... We only wanted your holding, but that ship has sailed. See you guys 'round Angfrost. I doubt half the server will be around to babysit you until I get bored.
