    Bugs:
    • All of the gear in my bank has 0 durability and breaks after 1 swing/cast.
    • Bloodcraft/Feather/Stam efficiency was removed on lots of my gear.
    • Names of bags got removed in my bank.
    • Marked Runestone names were reset to : My Teleport Rune
    • Noticed Portal Shard description was never updated. Still says its used for 'porting using a clan teleportation chamber'
    • Smelting doesn't appear on remote crafting tab.
    • Enchanted gems are bugged and display 'enchant level 0'.

    • /player_aliases command doesn't seem to work right. It looks like it displays your previous alias if the person you are searching up does not have a previous alias.

(some of this stuff might be fixed or already noted, just posting what I noticed when i logged in)

    Suggestions:

Crafting menu looks clunky and big, should be changed and fit together nicer. The crafting queue should be displayed in the same window as the crafting tab, opening a huge new tab for it doesn't look or feel right.

If you are crafting lots of a certain item in the queue menu the item icon blocks the progress bar. Move the item icon to the left of the number of items being crafted.

I like the display in skills/spells tab that shows your progress to the next level, it looks much nicer than a percentage. Will be nice later on if you manage to get it to display somewhere on the screen without opening the tab to see it leveling as you cast/craft.

Statting changes with food regeneration/sprinting seem really good. Looks like you will now usually die before you stat out. I think this is good for newer players and those who aren't good with stat management.

The weapon rank changes makes it easier for newer players to get into pvp, but it also devalues lots of the higher tier weapons. Why should I risk an r70 weapon that costs ~30-40k to make, when I can run around in an r40-r50 (only 800g to 2k) that is almost as good? 6 damage difference between an r50 and r70 seems like quite a bit, but think of it as an extra swing. after 8 hits with an r70 your going to get basically 1 free swing worth of damage. I don't see myself ever using r70/r80 weapons. I would rather keen an r50 or r60.

Will post if I find or think of anything else to add.

Thanks for the feedback, will look into the bugs as soon as possible.

    Smelting/Cooking requires a campfire currently.

    few more bugs with namechanges:
    • Inviting someone to party on their new name wont work, you need to invite them on their old name.
    • if you have someone added, it displays their old name. After Noah XVII namechanged and logged back in as 'Inostol Rex', it still said in system "Noah XVII is now online"

No R50 takes 2K to make. People are just consistently selling at a loss. It's closer to about 2650 at market prices. Slap 10% mark-up on that and it's close to 3k. Instead people are selling at at over 25% loss.

The option to keen is why you buy an R70. You buy a keen'd R50 there's no where else to go. You buy a blank R70 and you've got the option to throw a Q5 keen on. Or Q3. Even a Q3 will take you to 0.93 or thereabouts, but that sounds like a waste for a ~32k sword (cost price).

If you paid 40k for a R70 without a keen you got ripped off. I think a 75 Mastery crafter is worth about 250,000 gp per hour, but at 40k that's like 2,000,000 gp per hour.

It's why a 0.82 R50 still costs way less than a 0.82 JB. The option to keen is valuable.

The point I was trying to make, is that r60/r70/r80 stuff is much more expensive to craft. It doesn't make sense that q4 keened r40s does more damage damage than an unkeened r60. The cost to keen and craft an r40 is astronomically lower than the cost to craft an r60. Sure, if you keen the r60 you will still be doing more damage (much less now that each rank is 2 damage apart from one another).

    Lets estimate prices here.
    r40 cost + q4 keen = ~2000-3000?
    r50 cost + q4 keen = 4000-6000?
    r60 cost + q4 keen = ~12,000? +
    r70 cost + q4 keen = 30,000-40,000?
r80 cost + q4 keen = 300,000? + (this price is absolutely retarded for only 2 damage increase. The only r80 weapon that has a use now would be the sunbow)

Prices will be cheaper if you farm your own materials (especially enchanting)
(and keep in mind that if you q4 keen both, the difference in damage will still only be ~2 difference per tier now after this patch)

Maybe Im just an idiot.. but If I were to compare damages between a q4 keened r50 and a q4 keened r60, if the enchant roll is the same then after this patch the damage difference will be 2 damage? That is a stupid change.

Why should I spend an absurd amount more to upgrade my weapons to r60 when the gain isn't that much? An average player is always going to go with bare minimum gear (keened r40s and r50s.) I don't want to kill people for bare minimum gear. I could buy 10+ keened r50s for the price of 1 keened r70, and the damage difference would only be 4 damage per hit? After 10 r70 swings, I would get 1 "free hit". Do you see the problem now?

I honestly haven't tested damages as they are right now (on live server) between the tiers, so Im not sure if BPG changing the damages will have such a huge impact, but just looking at the costs to make each tier of weapon and the damage difference makes me wish I had not sold all of my r50s.

You are getting very close to realizing why they made these changes.

If the higher tier weapons are almost too cost prohibitive, coupled with a reduced dmg output for top end clans and players to use regularly, that means the everyday/less skilled/ new players get totally curb stomped lessv often because of a ridiculous gear disadvantage. Yes player skill still plays a big part. But this at least is an attempt to level part of the playing field.

Super rare overpower gear should be rare instead of common for big and experienced clans and super rare for new players. Sure people will use this gear, but hopefully less frequently now if the cost is deemed too much gold, for little too little damage.

When this gear is used, that is a chance for a less skilled group to kill/out play/ or even zerg this gear from the few guys willing to use it, which now puts this gear in the hands of possibly less skilled players. This is not a bad thing, any effort to level the playing field in an open world game/ FFA game is a good thing.

How it plays out on live remains to be seen.

Most of the issues in initial post should be fixed on PTS now. We reverted the DB to before it messed up the gems etc. so they should be good again.

Not interfering with the discussion I just wanted to point out that r70s are unchanged and the difference between them and r80s remains the same as before.
