Tweaked. Somewhere between a good movement mechanic and l have 5 spells that I can use to hop for 10 miles.
I personally don't care for it, but I can recognize that it's a mechanic they wish to support.
I think a simple tweak to the damage/stamina cost would do wonders.
I personally think they should be replaced by spells that can be used just as effectively by new players and vets. (Such as evade, dash or something similar).
This would prevent the scenerio of vets being very hard to chase/kill when fighting new players who don't know how to use these spells so effectively.
Me before actually giving B-hop a shot: "Oh hell the fuck no. Remove that shit ASAP."
Me after actually giving B-hop a shot: "It stays. Oh yes it stays. You better goddamn believe it's staying."
No thank you, i don't want Skill-less spells/skills like UW had. and just because someone doesn't know how to use it doesn't mean they can learn how to do it. tired of all the babies that cant/don't know how to use it so lets change it/replace it so its easier. That's not how life works, suck it up buttercup and learn how to use/adapt to it.
Do you not think the games heavy enough on new players without them having to learn some gimicky spells in order to be PvP viable?
nope 1st time i saw someone Bhop away from me i was like fuck he got away, how do i do that so i can catch him/ get away from people
Ask @Animal if one needs to master bunny-hopping to be PvP viable.

It has to stay. Only people that want it gone are terribads who only want to zerg instead of actually getting better at the game.
i mostly solo, so If this game starts catering to the zergs, im out.

Yah i mean im not overly bothered either way I can bunnyhop alright (I think ) but im just thinking of the newer players man, could it be another thing that could put some players off of playing? But then it works both ways, if it was removed/changed could it get rid of players like yourself?

I've sucked at darkfall for 8 years now and I still want it to stay. It's fun and and even I can do it well. Maybe add an official tutorial on the mechanics and spells of hopping for newbs.
Add stamina dmg to falling dmg if falling dmg twice or more within 3 seconds.

u already lose a shitload of stats bhopping from a zerg
whats so hard to shoot 1 r90 or magma and kill them?
Also if you hit them with a bleed dmg or tick spell before they start bhopping they will die when they bhop to low hp.
I feel they should tweak it so you cant jump when you have 1HP and possibly reduce effectiveness in water by a little bit aswell.
