I have the gold. I have 55 Lesser Magic skill, but I can't buy Mana Efficiency for Lesser Magic. No error messages, no popup dialog asking if I want to buy, nothing. I was able to buy Greater Magic however so I know I have over 50 Lesser Magic.
There is an issue with some resolutions as well as windows font size. Changing the font size to 100% on windows should fix the error.
Funny. Unchecking "Disable high DPI scaling" on the lobby and ROA executable fixed this. now of course the text is blurrier because of the scaling . Easy enough workaround for now though. Thanks.
I am having this issue when trying to purchase the same spells/skills. I dont have the ability to purchase nor even get any pop up menu's even though I have the gold and the requirements for the skill.. I have tried both solutions that were listed above but neither solution worked for me.. Would really like a working solution to this so I can continue to train my magic.
In the GUI options there should be a "confirm purchase" option, try checking that on to see if that solves the issue.

I'm having this issue as well. Was able to buy the first upgrade, but others are impossible to purchase - even with the needed gold and requirements. Spoke to devs about this but they appeared to have no solution. Anyone know of a working work-around? Thanks in advance!

Thank-you, but I have tried that - it was previously mentioned, by you, in this thread I have bumped - and all the other options suggested therein. The Confirm Purchase window does come up for some buys, just not for these.
Try setting your windows font size to 100% if it is not. What sort of resolution are you currently playing on?
1380x768, on a large display. The purchase window shows up normally for everything else, is the behavior or appearance different for these/some skills? Literally all other confirmation windows, assuming that is the problem, are fine.
It could be an issue with the display of the window not being where it actually is although it is weird that it works for some but not others. I would try the above with the font and possibly try messing with your resolutions.

Seems turning OFF, not turning on, Confirm Purchases, allows the skills to be bought. Thanks again Pork Ling for this solution!
