The bot doesn't have to tag anyone to have a system channel of it's own displaying the system messages. But yes, it DOES have the capability of that as well. I have no idea what Blackwater's does, and I'm not specifically targeting them, you are.
That is the only bot I’ve seen and you would have to be dead to miss the giant announcement scrolling across your screen. A person can type the same shit, the bot is useless for that. It’s only value is to catch people sneaking in a city. You are paranoid, there is no value in the bot pertaining to the big mobs
Dude. You're missing the point. The bot displays the message in DISCORD. NOT IN GAME. People not logged in will open up their phone --> Look at system messages --> Oh shit, free loot --> Log in and kill people --> Log out. Without that discord bot guess what these idiots would do? Look at discord --> See nothing relevant --> Stay logged out. It's really that simple.

Bullshit! Tons of the RoA changes being done to appease the current 200 people playing (because the game has no population) are completely antithetical to what would be good mechanics to attract and maintain a large or even medium population. Most of you are so out of touch and selfish that its borderline autistic. I always hated the phrase "those people are so ignorant that they actually vote against their own best interests", because 99% of the time the person saying it is just being an arrogant, condescending, jackass who doesn't understand the priorities of the people they are disparaging... but in this case it's actually applicable. The #1 priority for EVERYONE should be a much larger and long term sustainable population, yet so many of you (including BPG) advocate for dev time to be spent on things that will make little to no difference and ACTIVELY fight against suggestions that have been PROVEN to be the best chance to get the desired result. This whole project is a joke, I'm now convinced BPG is scared money and never going to be remotely successful because they don't have the balls to do what needs to be done, they'd rather piddle along with 200 players.
I bought 50 champ polearms from some dude dirt cheap. Thats the kinda stockpile people can build up doing non contested champs. Messages were a good add for the current state of the game. People that were duo champ killing for months with no one even going by those spawns just have to be more worried now? Thats a problem? They dont spam how many people are at the spawn so its ok. Just go there with 15 (bw) start it...then wait for 2 guys to port in then youre right in your norm. I can agree on the regen tho...stop to fight a group and the champ regens to full is dumb.

Yesterday was another fine example of why the announcements are amazing. We were doing the Demon lord, and three different clans came to kill us. Blackwater, Nacl, and Amnesia. Our good old Hei Zei and friend killed an Nacl guy but then died to Blackwater. We fight and obliterate 6 Nacl when we had 5 and the Demon Lord loot on us. Love the announcements!!! Add them to the champions!!! No more free boss loot! This is a PVP game!
Yesterday was fun and there were a few different fights at mid map. However, I stand by my reasoning that PvE shouldn’t be the main source of PvP. Bangers love it, and that’s why people roam mob spawns to begin with because their desire for PvP is insatiable. That being said, these types of things only cater to the PvPers. It kills off the PvE crowd. That’s no good.
Our Discord bot needs more work to do, so more announcements the better! Building on game additions that support dead population is the only way forward, until the Devs get the time to add Arenas. I'm looking forward to the premium access only Arenas. Will be fun for a day!
I already told them, they wont listen.. Neilk thinks fighting over pve farm spots is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
