point is they have spent so much time on development of things only to end up going back to before they started. They have reverted so much now that they have spent half or more of the entire time spent developing just to be reverted. So instead of having a more complete game we are back 1.5 2 years ago. They have made so many bad decisions only to have a game that is barely above water and still wont see any real pop gain from this. I uninstalled for the first time since this all began, I just do not understand the thinking that goes on. They cannot make a vision for this game and stick to it. I have given up will watch forums a bit and see how it goes but at this point feel like were beating a dead horse.
I invested 2 years for max my stat in darkfall 1.....and after one patch the other new players max all in some weeks lol
If you take a test like this: 2 ROA servers. 1-) Hard as they are asking you. 2-) Easy as I'm asking you. I am sure that if 1000 people play ROA 900 they will be playing the easy and not the hard. All my friends do not want to play again because they think the game is hard yet. --- Post updated --- They are wanting it because now any new person in the game can kill them. They want to reign again without anyone killing them for being a totally difficult game. They can not understand that if the game stays as it was before there will be no new players. And they who asked for it will abandon the game again.
I dont remember if city buff exist i darkfall 1.....but...please remove them and increase the range of guard towers
Honestly think they shouldn’t put 120 stat buffs in, champs are such a good gold sink and are pvp hot spot. Rest of the reverts I agree with Coming from someone with 100 of each stat lol

Agreed But please revert Eyerot damage and screenshake (or give it some other affect that actually blinds if for some reason you can't give it screenshake) and Pungent mist damage please, their other nerfs to cooldown, stat cost, debuff, cast time were PlENTY Also can you not just make mage self buffs last until killed or log out? I assume just drastically increasing duration is a simpler/faster fix than making them passive (and disabled if you take Destroyer) or combining them into 1 for slashing/arrow/piercing/bludgeoning, 1 for all elemental and holy/unholy protections, 1 for spell haste, 1 for life/mana/stamina... And are you bringing mage attribute self buffs back? If so combine them all into 1, or at least make the duration last until killed/log out... or like an hour Mage self buffs were part of the balance (and SHOULD return), but that doesn't mean prebuffing 2 hot bars worth of shit every 5-10 minutes is good And like I pointed out you ALREADY made Destroyer way stronger by allowing them to run Magekiller + Mage Hunter (which for the record does NOT have to self buff for each of those extra magic protections) + aqua shot+ jump shot... that's a HUGE buff over DF1 Destroyer And everyone knows the #1 player in DF1 was ALREADY a Destroyer taking heads with just Destroyer+ Magekiller+ watershot only
We will look at both of these, yes. Aside from my personal dislike for combining the spells, there are other game related reasons why I don't think it's the best option. For example transmute staffs (the real ones, not this combined crap we have now) and Mage specs. Combine all the buffs and one spec will dominate. What I'm considering right now is keeping them in game but in some fashion have a single cast or spell that activates each of them if you have access to it. This way you still have to level each of them, you don't have to cast them individually and specs or transmutes will always matter for their respective school. I'm less concerned about simple or faster changes with this one because in the end we can cast them until it's good to go. No we're not. Not sure if this is changing or not. We'll discuss it Always remove the outliers
If you put in the game the old trasmute staff...anyone use cobra...add mage specializzations for example "elemental mage "give to the player 5%-10% bonus for elemental spells ad 5%-10% malus for the other scholl like necro arcane ecc( i post something about that...)
That’s DF1, so tired of hearing you say luck this luck that. Luck logged in one day to his account one of the rats leveled for him and he was getting domed by everyone in duels. Pretty sure he still has his same computer from DF1 so no wonder, plus it’s been how long since he has played? RoA is a new era, though all the buffs to destroyers and the nerfs to mages do you know who has been the #1 player here? And do you know who has dominated almost every 2v2 tourneys in RoA?- where there are 144hz monitors better mouses, sub 20 ping, and everyone is basically maxxed so no one is character crutching. Arrow, always mage for tourneys, and when it’s 2v2 it’s Arrow and Juicy. And in the land of RoA where technolohy is actually advanced it’s always been a mage as #1 and he has literally never lost that spot. I wouldn’t use Arrow as a real example unless he had a clip of something I needed to show people- because it’s ignorant to use the top player as an example. Just like it is Luck, but even more so with him because not only is it completely irrelevant because of the time gap but he’s not even good anymore. Saying destros was easy before all these shitty combat changes is just laughable, since there was about 10-15 people if that, that actually mained destro. Destroyer is hard to master but super deadly once you get good at it. But the best destro will never beat the best mage in the older RoA beta type combat.. the destro might get lucky 1-2 fights out of 10 with a good sticky or landing 5 arrows back to back but 8/10 times the mage will come out on top.
Luck was good enough to 3v3 Squanto and juice easily with me his first day back though, we actually put them on straight farm status those 2 weeks before we quit again.
