    We have some ideas floating around to promote 1 handed use, but locking out completely I don't think so :D

    What is it with you people and "more content"? TCS is coming, dynamic housing is coming, how is more specs not content? Content as in things to do. Specs are optional choices, things to consider, things to try out, thing to play around with, things to do ffs. If you don't like them, roll that hybrid spec and nothing will change for you, but just because you won't enjoy specs doesn't mean nobody else will.

    Specs done right, id enjoy. The way they are laid out now? I would rather play unholy wars at the end, and that's saying a lot.

    Since this will likely happen regardless of a great many dissenting opinions, I'm curious how we're meant to test these changes when the PTS is notoriously laggy.

    Then focus on discussing how they should be done right, as opposed to trashing the concept as a whole. You have a lot of experience, so you can definitely help ensure that they don't crash and burn with this patch.

    Why are you trolling, combat paths being exactly like NGE is a legitimate concern..

    There are no doubts people want to be able to play differently, and making it easier to have viable play styles is great..

    The problem with these changes is that they are huge sweeping changes Do you agree or disagree.. does it matter to you that alot of people disagree? What is the the point of this discussion if you yourself are trolling it?

    NGE was a complete revamp of character development, this has nothing to do with character development.

    Decrease damage
    Rework staf magnitude
    New robe
    New Arrow tipe for archer no for heavy destro
    New skills for destro
    Only 1 magic reagent for mage
    Add perks for incrase damage of one magic scholl....more mana....hp....bonus melee ...ecc......only 3 perks active for build

    But dont change the mage gameplay of darkfall ! Or you kill the game !!!

    Star wars NGE patches had broad sweeping changes to many things, not just character development.. The game went from a free form skill development game to class/role based game..

    Hate to bandwagon, but this pretty much sums it up.

    Phase 1 mostly sounds good.
    Forget phase 2.

    Add more content to the game before completely altering what is currently working.
