i blame google for this poll. Seriously it's badly worded so i have no idea what he is trying to get at.
Me neither. I assumed it was just about the crafting masteries thing, but maybe he was implying more?
They said any changes done will not be final, if it's hated they'll change it. Honestly a limit on crafting masteries will be fine. it effects the game balance not at all and most people didn't master every crafting school. If you noticed enchanting was not included so you can still do 2 masteries + enchanting if you really feel like grinding your soul away.
yes I see your point turn a massive war territory PVP game into a giant flea market. yeah like a big corporation with restrictions. yes its sinking in now I just love hunting down and buying what I need to play for the day. I am starting to dig it, hell my wife wants to play now she loves to shop.
I'm not saying make it into a giant flea market. Also it isn't just a PvP game. That is a major part of the game, but by no means should it be called just a PvP game. It was heavily political and the economy of the game thrived until everyone started hitting late game and the need for specialized crafters went down the drain. If everything was at my disposal at all times, I wouldn't really care about my gear that much, meaning PvP wouldn't be as exciting. I enjoy the risk of losing things with value, and earning things with value if I succeed in PvP. That's what makes Darkfall exciting. The risk/reward aspect of Darkfall makes it so much better than any other MMO out there.
What is the difference between selling bows for gold to buy boats then trading bows directly for boats? If you make boats but need bows and I make bows but need boats then we would do business. Its not a hard concept to understand.
unrestricted gameplay without a doubt. I played DF1 for a very small time and ended up quitting and just doing whatever the hell else i was doing back then, after getting somewhat decent in DFUW i always felt "locked in" and while i'm not sure if that was because of how the game was designed or because of the class system, i'll lean towards the class system.
I dont know if anyone remember the beginning of df, everyone wanted a skillcap that never made it but could maybe be the answer to balance in building "what you want to play" and player economy. We all know the game Ultima Online that made his name with that, so if BPG decide to ever try new stuff, try it out BEFORE whining on the forum like forumfall.
If you just going to be buying, whats your problem with the crafting changes? sounds like you also like to shop like the wife.
HAHAHAA just read it slower this time around........ it was sarcasm I'm smoking some killer....... Buzzin like a chainsaw heheeee
