had the most fun in darkfall during the launches but I combine that with the most activity and I do not think many people would be back for yet another launch
is it even a question that mary jane would dupe? she was the bad egg that really ruined defiance, myater should know better, game integrity > e-pussy but in all fairness, she was shell shocked after the mad jick incidents, so we can't be sure it was her or her rattled brain duping. --- Post updated --- can we revert gains and get a relaunch
I don't mind a ''bank'' wipe except ''character'' wipe since i worked hard to finally get 75 enchanting. I got tired of asking ppl to enchant my stuff. We can wipe, but wiping in response for what the dupers did would only punish those who actually worked hard which would be an ironic move that really won't punish the cheaters in the end. There's actually ppl who farm so much in this game that i would feel bad for them to get wiped when they shouldn't be held responsible for anything.
This is pretty frustrating, but I also get that something HAD to be done and its not the devs fault. Screw the players who instead of helping the game / devs / community just acted like 15 year old douches and did this.
This is so fucked. Doesn’t surprise me though. This game is notorious for attracting the type of people who would do anything to get ahead. It’s really disheartening to all the players who do things the right way. I doubt they will wipe but if they did that would be it for me. I barely have time to play as it is and I damn sure am not stacking my admittedly meager bank again. Ban anyone you can find who is in anyway associated with this, fix it and move on.
i dont think combat changes are the worst, i'd rather them make stat pots rare, revert gains and then go from there, idk about loot tables or anything, but i definitely am for a wipe and re-launch real question though, how come when you go through the ban list its defiance that gets banned for hacking and duping? real talk, i only remember seeing 1 or 2 "hacking" bans and it was defiance, now this, im thinking we squanto the lot and let the game flourish without them holding us back. Thoughts?
There's an issue when a character expires it gets removed from the ban list (They are still banned) so there's some people missing from there.
@Myater how are you ganna spin your whole "but lears a trade ganker guys, what we did wasnt that bad" to match this? I trade battled a KNOWN duper at this point, whos now in a clan that is harboring multiple KNOWN dupers, and trying to say trade battles are horrible Can we expect an official defiance response?
If you had any sense at all. It was mad jick that did the duping and gave the gold out to the others that got banned.

Rolling back the entire server was dumb, you used a fucking sledgehammer to do what you should have done with a fucking chisel. Revert the sales/buys on the market, ban the dupers permanently, delete any suspected duped gold/items, Do not roll back 2 days and fuck up everything for your already struggling population who play the game fairly.
Calm down, take a deep breath. It's just two days. People are talking about a whole server wipe and its popular, you are complaining about 2 days? It could be much worse very soon. If any noobs were negatively effected by this I will help them farm a ton of stuff fairly quickly just PM me here or ingame. Let your noob clannies know too. It burns when I pve, but I'm good at it and will scroll up a noob to be my heal bot and let him loot etc. Starting today, I've got a good month free until school starts.
