Are not Dagnamyr and Alberworth in Lawfull lands and they have Neithal/Leenspar mines?
I will have a look at dagnamyr, Alberworth was changed into a lawless zone if i remember right due to wonder

Public Test Server is the last stage of testing. It gets tested for a long time internally before it reaches this stage.
One problem with connecting upkeep pretty much exclusively to PvP content and also re-enabling billboards to port to all villages again regardless of location, is that the top percentage of PvP players will be able to easily obtain the upkeep items, while more casual players might end up losing their holding.
A lot of recent changes in RoA exclusively favour the top percentage. The game should be approaching development from an accessibility point of view rather than a "oh we should do it this way to exclusively appease the existing 50 PvP elitists we got playing".
If you wanted to encourage more people to own holdings - people of diverse play styles - then you should have attached upkeep to something accessible to everyone, even if that method is more tedious. Tedious upkeep systems, while not ideal, do spread out holdings and encourage PvP elitists to recruit casual players.
Remember, just because a certain game went massively overboard on something, doesn't make the general concept invalid.
The plat should be obtained from other places not pvp related, but with pvp possible. Things like the demon lord, fire dragon, krakens, 7k mobs, daily dungeons, daily tasks, keys, maps even lower tier mobs. If the only way to get this stuff is villages and sea towers then only blobs/pvp gods will get it and half the holdings in the game will go flat/unowned. Get people out in the world doing stuff. If it’s only available if you are good at pvp then after dying a few times at villages then people who aren’t good at pvp won’t go back and then won’t be able to own holdings.
I'm not sure if some people skipped over the patch notes today since they looked similar to the PTS notes but they had some extra stuff.

Yes but bangers will just place alts at these spawns since there is only a few. Defeats the purpose of a pve mob. Should be tons of mobs and not even mobs but keys/trade routes/maps/dungeons/tasks as well.

Disagree. Should be boss/champion mobs only. This game really lacks things to do as a group when almost everything is accomplished faster solo. This being a clan resource makes it prefectly fine to have it a result of group/high risk activities exclusively.

Yes very easy. Put an alt at the spawn and wait for sound and pvp at villages.
The total platinum cost to maintain all the holdings on the map is about 125k/week.
Did anyone do the math? Is it even possible to get that much platinum from all sources in one week?
Great patch! I'm sure tweaks will be needed, also a lot of people expressed valid concerns already, but overall badass ideas devs! Good overall direction. Finally a little bit more depth to the game.
To me the problem is that instant travel requires so little effort/cost. This is the reason the strongest group (by skill or numbers) will take most/all of rewards and quickly make others discouraged from participating in what game has to offer. There is no downside to teleporting via billboard if you are the strongest group. You just port to as many points of interest as frequently as possible. This needs to change somehow, to give others chance and reason to even participate. And break monotony of fighting same people over and over again. So, if we don't want to remove instant travel, please think on something that will make it a calculation of cost vs potential reward.
I can see that the problem crossed your mind so you introduced different levels of rewards based on village location but I don't think this is the way to fight that particular problem. Lower reward is still a reward when costs are close to zero.
If there is activity you could have even removed village rewards and strongest group would still come. Because harvesting tears has always been the ultimate reward in darkfall. You need to make repetitive tear harvesting via instant travel costly to make people think if they really want to mindlessly teleport as frequently as possible to stomp anyone anywere. Maybe make billboard jumps cost something other than just gold? Some ingredient requiring open world activity? Maybe make it cost more every next jump? Or make cost distance dependent?

Good patch, but we still Need to check all this stuff on map, expecially for new players. People have to know that they can fight and train with less risk, so we Will see more action.
Nope. Half the holdings in the game will go vacant and flattened. Don’t worry some mythical new player clan will be ready to scoop them up and rebuild. All while getting stomped at every village by vets so they will lose it a week later cuz there’s no other way to get platinum to maintain it. Welcome to darkfall.
Hehe, to lose a holding because you can't afford it is nothing compared to this scenario:
- strongest clan sieges every holding in the game to then deliberately not pay for them. After quite a short time the ONLY holding standing will be the one they own.
Jokes aside - this can be devastating.
EDIT: I think in New Dawn they battled it with random holding going neutral in case of debt.
