name change is a stupid ass idea and ruins the whole fucking idea of the game will not support that stupidness

 

Well sure maybe that should be made clear lol im really really gainst name changes in this game but i guess if i could look people up to make sure they are not Squanto or someone sure.

Also how is any of this a "beta incentive"? Unless mysterious essence isn't going to do any of these things at launch, then this isn't a beta incentive at all...

 

Having a store is what keeps most games alive. Chillax bro.

 

you turn in mysterious essences for points. They put a store into the game. You take those points and you can use them towards buying w/e they put on the store. i.e for playing beta, you are earning money in the event that you want to buy one of the things they offer in the store in the future after launch

 

So the subscription time will not be like a the D.U.E.L.?

 

So after we've spent the time playing beta, figuring out what race and sex we want to be, we get to use the feature of race and sex changes on launch? Woooohooooo!

Wait we get to save up and use it for subscription time? That will totally make up for having to pay for packs and sub fees to do something (testing their game for them) that should be free...

 

well if they implement the plex/duel system which they already spoke of then technically yes, you can use those points towards game time if you dont like any of the other stuff they eventually add to the store.

Maybe its a token u buy that goes to ur in game character that you can either choose to consume yourself or sell to someone else for gold.

 

Race change and sex change: we will already have figured out before launch what we want to be. Useless.

Name change: this is a game where most people put pride behind their name and only the shady types will really use this. Useless.

Clan name change: Mostly the same as above but will be used even less. Useless.

Cosmetic items: Who knows if or when we will get these, hopefully no time soon since actual content needs to be priority. Useless.

Sub time: we will already end up paying g for our supporter packs and such. So really its just a way to earn back a bit of our money we will have already spent. I guess it's a nice little economic addition to the game. Meh.

It sound like you won't be able to sell it to someone else for gold.

Selling someone game time wouldnt be increasing player wealth out of thin air, it would be a transfer of player wealth. In regards to progression it means they wont sell exp pots.

 

If you read over it again, they state that all your old names can still be seen.

 

Well fortunately for BPG you wont be the only player in their game. A majority will be finding a use for these points.
