nice choice on the logo. cant wait to "register my interest", i must say my curiosity is piqued. looking forward to wednesday updates as well now. I check these forums about 10-15 times a day! The anticipation is killing me.
looks amateur bad kerning/alignment gem looks like clipart text has subpixel rendering and nothing else does doesnt matter tho because everyone glazes over on loading screens and they arent going to see it anywhere else
I'm going to be honest here, this update disappointed me. Last week's community update said "As stated in the last community update, signups for Alpha will be incoming soon. We will be presenting more details on this next week." In this community update you said "I can't say too much, but there will be an opportunity to register your interest for Darkfall: Rise of Agon" These are not details. As far as I am concerned this is as vague and uninformative as it gets. Telling us that we have "a big week ahead of us" , i'm going to do myself a favor and not let my expectations get the better of me. With that said I very much look forward to the day when there is a real announcement with solid information regarding a very real, very imminent chance to play Darkfall including actual details and specific information. Nice logo.
Patience you scoundrels. AV didn't keep their community updated a fraction of the amount the guys here do. The devs here also frequently post on the forums, communication all round has been excellent. I think the logo looks pretty cool. Simple and effective.
Why not change the color scheme on the logo to be more "Darkfalley"? I.e. orange and black or something
This is only the company logo. As I said... we have something special in store. I feel wierd speaking like this. I'm starting to understand why AV DID. NDA's are tough!
Better yet, why not take away some of the detail and colors so it's just an abstract symbol of a bindstone? Less is usually more when it comes to logo design
Original inspiration was from lion head studios logo, obviously we've deviated a bit. The logo will evolve, that's a given. But for now it's acceptable.
I feel that this is a group of people playing business. the hit or miss info is really not cool and it feels like AV all over again. update about a logo and punishment news. what about the big news that was coming this week? this is it?
Well, you see, they have to wait on AV to grant them access to the code. So even if they expected to have access, AV might be fucking with them.
