Is AFK swimming considered macroing? Because if so you need to word it better because just auto running into a wall in not a macro. (A GM told me AFK swimming is considered macroing but checking here to make sure since I've heard multiple things differently from them on many occasions.)
The GM was missinformed, sorry about that. We will not be kicking AFK swimmers as we are looking into removing/tweaking the gains from swimming/sprinting into walls so it won't be a good stat gain anymore.
I agree with nearly everything, besides afk macroing. If you want to have it gone (note:i personally am not against amcroing), you Need to punish it stepwise as well. If it stayes like above, People will just try it and if they get caught, well, just kick from Server, try again next night. No risk besides getting caught from a Player who kills and take the regs.
I have to agree with this. This is going to put a lot of extra work load on GM's. People aren't going to care about "Kicked" from the server. No risk what so ever and they will just continue to do it. A 1 hour/5/10 hour ban probably is not good enough either. Think about it. People who macro are going to sleep. Average sleep? 6-8 hours? Then off to work or school (typically). Assume another 8-9 hours. Their ban is up by the time they get home. Rinse repeat.
GM messages need their own chat box or something or they need to be able to send a notification to the same area as the ruby conclave stuff. Have missed tells from so many people when I have a bunch of chat tabs open. Audio cue is nice but I don't always notice it for whatever reason.
agree on that - better solution, after 5 min instead of kick, port them to the next Goblin spawn.... especially when they are in safe zones (holdings you could raid and kill them for reags..) That does 3 things: - avoid starter cities to be again a secure marco zone for selfbufs (I recall the magic spamming sound there at the original launch everywhere) - harsher penalty than just kick (this way they keep their reags) - may make some noob happy about the reags Further suggestion on the Bans: - Disable Meditation when banned
Hey guys here's a fuckin crazy idea how about we just remove most of the NEED to macro by making shit like self buffs/ buff others/utility spells just based off the SCHOOL or the SCHOOL SUBSKILL level (durable fire magic for example) and making quickness/vit/str/ dex gains a little better when swinging/shooting mobs Or do you kids actually want to manually spam launch, telekinesis, begone, buffs and come hither because if that's the case let me fuckin know so I can go do something else and not throw away any more $ or time here PLEASE go look at what DnD is doing they DO have some good changes among the bad Thanks AV for fucking us over one final time by selling two game licenses and splitting the tiny population and good community ideas
So basically macroing and exploiting is allowed and your only gonna make a half assed try to eliminate it, if someone gets reported they can come back after 10 hours... Is this cause its beta or after launch? Reads like a bad joke to me. What about the bank + skill gains from exploited mobs ? Why would I ever pay for a game with such a policy ?!

stfu with the trash DND suggestions already its getting repetitive and boring. Beta JUST came out with a significant amount of QOL changes and other changes as well. The very next day they already put out a patch that changed other things too. Do you not think they are working on shit? They cant just snap their fingers every time someone makes a post about something. Be patient. They are working on all this exploiting/spawn shit. If you want them to remove bugged spawns then you will have to have them nearly remove every single spawn because you can practically exploit everything. this would be unfair to the new people who want to just try the game and dont know how to exploit. What if someone made a new char, and on top of the garbage tutorial every spawn they went to had no mobs because other people knew how to exploit that spawn. Its a beta. Test shit out, plan your char out for live launch and just take patches as they come. Thats all you can do. --- Post updated --- Its a beta.
