First! Good update Edit: Would like to see the ability to bind your weapon to abilities. I.E Throw your staff on fireball and when you use fireball it brings out your staff There's already ways to do this via scripts, and it's one of the only things I could think of that you could still use AHK for so I'd like to see it in game if possible
I like what I see, but I'm really worried about the speed at which he was able to switch weapons (look at 0:40). That looks like UW insta weapon switches to me, and if it's the case, it's gonna have similar effect that it had in UW and fuck up the transition game...
Can we have the option box on single abilities, to let us auto cast/trigger on release single spells that aren't part of a cycle please? Also, is the auto cast/trigger on release selected for each ability, or for the entire cycle? Having it for each ability would be a nice option.
Ummm.... Staff is first, followed by fireball, set it to burst?\ This right here. I'm pretty much not changing any of my binds when they implement this apart from maybe a 90 cycle. I'd like to be able to autocast transfers, something I don't currently have. I really hope this system is implemented when the server comes up, I need that priority ray cycle :3
the greatsword animation still there. i never played with 10 ms so.. idk if this velocity is normal. --- Post updated --- Excelent job! u guys removed the paperdoll locked already?
One think to note is that if you've got a "priority" list, to make sure that it will allow you to cast the 2nd spell in the list if you don't have enough regs to cast the first one. I can see a person being stuck unable to cast begone or shrapnel because stormblast is first priority and they ran out of a reg to cast it. Would not be fun.
ok lets calm down lol. I think what my Brazilian friend is trying to say is having hopping spells on a cycle is a bad idea, as they are all extremely situational. But yes, make sure because you dont have regs that the cycle isn't stuck on the first spell please :3
Well of course. But I did intentionally try to pick the worst case scenario. I guess you could do it with rays, but if I can't cast any ray, that's an inconvenience. If I can't cast a hopping spell, the outcome would be similar to the situation he described.
I don't think it will be that bad. In UW you could cancel spells and abilities mid cast. Can't do that in DFO, so the transition game will still be there.
The instant sword n board is the only thing that worries me. Being able to parry on an instant sounds OP to me and also makes the game more ping dependent than it already is.
If anything it makes the game less ping dependent...... With 120 ping I can rarely if ever get my shield out before eating rays following a magma. Meanwhile low ping players regularly can parry mine because they don't have to wait as long between the sword and shield
Thanks for support. Lol I think i dont know exactly how some kind of words are weighted. What is "slang" or "offensive" in some situations. But as u said very well.. these spells are extremely situational so... no reason to put in cycle.
