Today's post includes an announcement on our development cycle and the roadmap for Q3 of 2017. Read more: Development Update and Q3 2017 Roadmap
. edit: im really hyped about tasks, finally the content av never delivered, hopefully it doesnt just go ''hey we added tasks just guess what they are''
I like the idea of mystery, so we'll likely place some hidden secret tasks. I do understand that a lot of people just like to have things ready to go for them to do.
Is alignment system refinement getting slotted in anywhere? Also I am way excited about territory control
Also maybe add some ways to increase variety in pvp. Wont give any sugestions cuz it will just start an arguement, but you guys get the point. currently there's very little spell variety, weapon variety (greatclubs are junk), indestructible is garb, everyone uses same armor, ect. We dont need some massive pvp overhaul, just some little tweaks could go a long way to make less used stuff more used (like adding effects to under used spells to make them possible competition without being the new meta, ect)
I have zero interest in anything listed on the Q3 roadmap. Not trying to be a dick, just honest feedback - still having fun with the game as is. Poked around in my brain to see what I'd actually like to see done so my post is potentially constructive and honestly all I'm coming up with is item persistence for house safes. That would be pretty nice since I live out of that thing
casino areas that you can build in cities would be most fun for me, i have a gambling addiction, so id have to go farm
I'm looking forward to Player Vendors, although I'm really not sure how it's supposed to work. The thing I'm looking forward to the most is tasks (and hopefully they will not be tiered, or very few of them will be).
I'm sad to see no mention of specialization additions or changes, definitely feeling forced into builds I didn't want to play. Other than that, this looks like a good roadmap and I'll support the game for a good while, but please spice up build diversity.
Yeah that's exactly what I meant. It just didn't feel rewarding at all, being forced to go back to newbie lands and kill Ogre Bullies when I rather just continue farming Carin Giants. Plus it has that frustrating feeling of taking your freedom away and putting you on rails. I much rather pick and choose what I want to do.
That's how I feel too. The second iteration of tasks was the last fun I've had so far. I really felt like I was being forced to do things because I was low on meditation points. After stage 4 of the giant quest I just quit.
