All we need now is that Kpop style cleavage with some plush texture... In RGB. And Yomi already has a couple of reasons to log in and pimp his wardrobe. <3 Let's go!
The screenshots are from a slightly older build so the color masks aren't up to date. Also these are just from testing and are not what the final colors will be, just examples.
What kind of time frame are we looking at before some things are in the game to actually encourage people to log in? Territory Control? UW style relic system? Some kind of CTF mechanic? Meaningful faction system? I want to be optimistic, help us help you.
I just saw these in the discord You have two choices: This:https://i.gyazo.com/5c4aebcadf0b251cab0aa7e211b12e06.mp4 https://i.gyazo.com/3aaabe01c8b5887333e37b315f9d0d82.mp4 https://i.gyazo.com/742fe561eb1286d8e9d7130c6d5b360c.mp4 Or dyes, which one would you rather have? (hypothetically of course)
I'd need to compare it to the live version of the screen shots, but for some reason those 2 look more natural/fitting to the game world, must be shaders or something (although I detest the green).
honest opinion, it looks so blend. are these pallette swap incomplete? but maybe, we can now dodge rex's pixel macro script...
I appreciate this update and look forward to your continued fulfillment of long promised features. I am excited to stand next to a watchtower in the colors of my clan. I am also excited for whatever will be done with the toys, which sounds like to might actually ascend to the level worthy of the moniker “content”. The infernal pictures don’t look terrible but I’d like to know what constitutes the primary and secondary color sections. In the below picture of infernal armor the secondary orange is strong at the edges and tapers into the main dark grey section. But for example the pink dyed picture just has bright pink tapering into dark pink, which looks worse. It would be nice to see what this looks like on mahirim full plate. That already is bad looking because it’s mostly one light grey color all the way through, so it seems like it might adapt to the dye system better.
Yeah I'll get some better screenshots these ones were a little earlier on and the in game current versions look a lot better with more detail. We had a bad build that messed up the internal client so I wasn't able to get recent shots but I didn't want to delay an update so went with a couple older ones I had on our teams history . I will get a video together when the build gets fixed I had started creating a variety of dyes to showcase them and set up a recorder but noticed some issues and did some QA instead which semi broke my internal character haha. Once it gets fixed up I'll put a teaser video out to show current looks.
@Andrew honest question, but why do the screenshots you guys posted look like complete dog shit and the ones Rex has made look badass? Like I’d pay for some of the ones he has shown but yours won’t even get me to come back and play
There’s a difference between modifying a texture with photoshop, like Rex, and modifying it programmatically in a universally compatible way for all armors. While it likely won’t ever look like a psbattle touchup you should reserve judgement for later.
