Dye system we have is a work in progress these are earlier screenshots of the system as it was being dialed in. We're creating a system that allows us a massive range of colours and options vs making a new asset for every single colour on each race's set of armour. Every full suit of armour has 120 separate assets(6 races, 2 sexes, 10 pieces per suit). Every single colour requires changing all 120 of those assets, 1/2 of them are resizes for the different sexes so it makes it easier but still each piece needs to be edited to create a suit of armour. As far as I understand the models Rex has made they were done using the leaked standalone and by swapping the assets for the updated pieces which means each piece is updated manually. This system will allow for a lot more possibilities without such manual intervention and users can mix them around to try out all the combinations they want. We'll be able to easily add in new colours and as we mature this system it will look better and better once it is fully dialed in. --- Post updated --- TCS is slowly coming together in the background but it's requiring a lot of backend changes that have slowed it down to get it in as we want. TJ is still working on it but is also helping out on other components including dyes, research and lawful changes. It's still in development though but we're not letting the challenges with that system slow down other development. It's become a long-term feature while most of the team is working on other things that will add content and improve the game now.
