    I thought we would be able to use our in game points to upgrade our accounts? Whatever happened to that?

    The player points everyone has been accumulating during beta will be converted in the future. The ratio and process has not yet been finalised.

    Player Points will be converted at launch to Nithron Coins to be used in the Nithron Coin store. They cannot be used to upgrade a current pack to another one.

    The original launch was already without 500k med points, that change was extremely recent. Gold drops are also the exact same. A reset would just rid the server of the last people there who are willing to test and play. What would a reset do in that regard?

    Does this mean holdings get wiped?

    There won't be any wipe of any kind until launch. In which case there will be a fresh server start for all players on launch day, including holdings, characters and bank - it will be a fresh agon.

    The sea tower is already not worth doing. This is largely because naval combat is ass in so many ways. Its loot is pretty meh as well.
    Last few ones I went to watch naked had only one alliance show up anyways. Zero fighting. I guess nerfing it so no one bothers to go at all wouldn't really change anything until they get around to fixing naval combat.

    Drop is OP in low pop but I imagine it will be fine with large population. Sea tower needs fix on RNG cap mechanics and naval combat could use so much more sand I agree.

    Im assuming even though it gives insane resources, probably all the people left on the server that actually care already have a fat bank. So there isnt really a need to go, which means there wont be any fights. In turn, nobody shows up except for maybe a couple nakeds and some shitty boat

    I wish the naval combat was actually fun enough that it didn't need a huge reward to bait people out to it.

    i disagree, the naval fight in DFO is pretty amazing when u think about it vs any other games, some players may dislike it but a lot of players love it.

    for my part i hate water fighting because of u :wink:

    Its just not very involved or skill based. You shoot anywhere on the opposing boat. No target points or anything. You repair anywhere on your boat. No target points or anything. There isn't a lot of variance in ship performance. Its fundamentally a cannon vs repair shards numbers game. Now that is super easy to outpace swimmers its very difficult to force boarding actions or 'end' a boat fight unless both sides want it to end or one side is completely unprepared. There isn't a lot of under water terrain or any wind or any currents for ship captains to use to their advantage.

    Its like they started to make naval combat and then just left it at its most basic first iteration without finishing or fleshing it out.
