@Hugo At some point early on should include addition of ability to vote on adding/removing features (in-game).
surging = 20% bonus on magnitude or stuck at 100.00 skill level adding 3% on magnitude. its sounds ok to me
i think Portal Chambers in hamlet/cities needs to stay, they greatly increase value of the holding and provoke a lot of conflict. tx for all the info ) looks amazing
I would prefer the latter, but without any annoying surge animations like inferno being a massive blinding blast. I am anti RNG and just dont see the point of keeping it in. Pre-surging was lame imo.
"Wilderness Portal Network" That is probably my biggest issue, I like the big map, I like the traveling. Who will care what holding you have If you can just easily port where you need to be.
Did you guys abandon the idea of making the entry to game easier? I remember ideas being tossed around that skilling from 1-50 being rather easy, and 50-100 being more difficult. I was quite fond of this approach. Also noticing a lack of interest in the exploitable mob spawns, obviously you can't fix them all but they need to be looked into otherwise power gap will be huge to people with knowledge of them.
we need to give some reward for a guy who grind 75.0 to 100.00, i think add some magnitude bonus at 100 will works very well
I think this will be okay at least for alpha. We need to see where population takes us. Imo a lot of changes to the game should depend on population (or lack of it).
Combat - Flying damage numbers option on/off. Is it fine to implement this feature without UI overhaul ?
I like all changes on the new roadmap except the gathering changes. I think Making gathering quicker is a great idea, but lowering the amount of each node's contents I dislike. UW did that and it was a utter mess. As for portal chambers, I'm in different about. I think clans having portal networks in their holdings was 1 of the few reasons that made holdings worth while and added to empire building and city raids.
I do too, and this will promote that. The network won't make it "easy to port everywhere you need to be", that is not it's intent. It will be a group of portals around agon that you can use to assist you in getting from point A to B, but you'll still have to go out in the world to get to them.
It could be quite neat as long as you can still select the individual spell you want when needed ofc.
