    No, did you cast spells in dfo with full infernal/dragon you did no dmg. Absolutely fucking 0 dmg.
    And if they lower magnitude and cast speed you would lose a dps race to a goblin scout.

    Aye I was thinking the same thing about regular mounts being buffed but bluetails remaining the same while on a road. A small bonus to regular mounts, and blue tail speeds weren't insane to outrun a player.

    Oh, and for the "spell stacking mechanic/hotkey" I want to refer to my post regarding this and how I think it should work.

    Once again, me and the whole Darkfall community are really rooting for you guys! Make Agon great again!

    i'm pretty sure it was tied into df1's usage of axis-aligned hitboxes with respect to projectiles, which may cause more issues than estimated. this issue corresponds more to the server-sided physics than what's accessible on the emulator.

    edit: on the real doe I think you should add some sort of stamina reduction while running on roads so it doesn't just benefit those with mounts, or have your mount auto heal over time while you're on the road (kinda like df1 had before they removed it)

    I just don't think simply movement speed will make roads worth taking unless we're talking about race car speeds xD

    make it real slow/less damage unless you are destroyer specced, because limited access to spells inherent in the class itself. that would work wouldnt it? want to be heavy armor and cast some spells decent go destroyer.

    So I played back in beta DFO and for 6 months after launch. Helping Murder Herd fight Hyperion etc etc. I was never super hardcore into the game due to school back then but AV really turned me off because nothing was getting done to help the game...

    I'm unable to comment if these are good or bad changes but BPG is already showing more initiative than AV ever did.

    Good luck to you. I await for my chance to join in the alpha/beta stages and play again.

    Regarding the removal of fizzles. I am curious if you are going to have indicators on the amount you are affected by burden? So you would have an indicator stating the % of slow to cast speed and % of damage lowered due to the armor you are wearing. Similar to the burden indicator, I guess.

    Don't even need to do something as "complicated" as that. Transfers and heals already were less effected by encumbrance than other kind of spells in DFO, that is something they changed at some point. So if the new penalities they add don't effect transfers and heals, it will be fine.

    I had a couple of friends who mostly played semi AFK, they did not have an 'alt' it was with their main, they just played this way and leveled crafting and that was it, but their character was there in the world and we would have conversations stopping starting every 10 mins plus or w/e. This won't effect me directly at all, I never had an alt. Like I said, if the purpose is to make people 'feel' as though they don't need to get an alt to afk harvest with then it should be easy enough to promote both ways. However the way you are saying it here makes me think you don't want people to have a choice to play semi afk, it is either be online active or don't, we don't want you? That seems an odd choice.

    Besides, who the hell will I be able to kill now? that's my last word on it.

    Has this been answered somewhere?

    I know that alfar had hitbox issues at launch and a decent reach for their size.

    Will sizes all be normalized? Are there racial abilities or stat differences?

    The sizes will not be normalized, UW did that and it was a complete mess. There was 0 uniqueness among the races in UW.
