    All good stuff. Glad I didn't grind WC to 75.

    The progress is steady, the progress is good. A man is very happy he is able to play a significantly improved Darkfall.

    What the heck is mana blast and why all the changes to it? Can't recall ever seeing it used in df1 ?

    It's the only damage spell in spell chanting and levelling up a school without a damage spell is hell.

    No not yet unfortunately, there are a few fixes to skills not levelling that will probably come in the next patch or one after. Relating to throwing, siege hammers, rage and dwarven perseverance .

    Don't forget to give everyone siege hammer skill without having to buy it for 100g. I've had two friends both go all the way out to cap a village with a siege hammer only to realize they hadn't bought the skill yet.

    Good work guys, slow and steady and no fuck ups how champions are made.

    It might be a little early to spread the word, but I've heard that more then one multi gaming guild will be trying our Darkfall at release, they already have scouts in Beta.

    it works out to be long term progression i guess for the school specific things, dura, mana efficiency, magnitude etc. Maybe you guys could combine max stamina/health/mana to be 1 total combined buff that goes over stat cap by +10 for each. In its current state as a buff its pretty useless, but if you combined them, and made them a high level spell in spell chanting it would still add some usefulness to leveling the full school out and putting some time into it.

    Yep, no reason to push to 100 for me, and that's coming from a support player. All I gain is quicken/intensify and the max HP buff. With frontloaded stats I'll probably stop using the other buffs soon.

    Realistically I'll only ever use Sacrifice and the max mana buff in the longterm so grinding for quicken/intensify is a low priority. Grinding out a school has only 1 damage spell with a long CD is still arduous.

    Why the hell are you fucking with skill requirements? The only valid change you did for magic schools was mana blast. Everything else was unnecessary.

    "grinding" is already way too easy and you're making it even more so.

    No... it was super necessary.

    You realize how annoying any fight was without disabling blow/shot? Or blowing your brains out shooting needles to get 75 WC? I got 1 point in an hour after 60.

    ehh yes and no. I mean its kind of annoying for anyone pvping very early on to actually kill someone. You literally just parry everything. Though i think 25 is a tad too low, should be closer to 50, but definitely not 80. Realistically though, in the end you will still need to grind everything up, this just gave people an opportunity to get certain spells slightly quicker. Not a big issue.
