We are looking for volunteers for a weekly event to be held every Friday. The event consists of arranged fights from 1v1 to 10v10. Wagers are accepted and gold will be held by a middleman. Spectators can place wagers versus one another and offer appropriate odds. Events will be streamed and ideally have two commentators. Players will be asked to keep the fights fair by killing those who interfere. Friday Night Fights will take place outside Hintenfau Chaos City and some worldbuilding would take place to create a fence representing the boundaries of the battlefield. Willingly exiting the battlefield will result in an immediate loss. Rules on gear restrictions, usage of mounts, etc will be discussed and finalized.

In order to make this happen, we will need several players willing to stream, so there will always be at least one stream of the events. Duo commentary is encouraged although solo commentary is acceptable. We will also need players to show up for fights, and ideally more players to show up as spectators. Gambling is encouraged although fixing matches is a possibility so keep that in mind.

There will also be championship belts up for grabs, although these are just for fun and there will be no actual belts, they’re more of a prestigious thing to hold.

A player may only hold one singles belt at a time, and to challenge for a higher belt they must forfeit their current belt. Duo and trio belts may be held in addition to a singles belt, so one player could potentially hold the heavyweight belt, duo belt, and trio belt simultaneously. If at any time you lose a fight while holding a belt, the belt is lost to the victor. In order to hold a belt you must be willing to defend it against deserving opponents at least once a month, but ideally more than that. If you fail to do so, your belt(s) will be lost and a match will be determined based on appropriate players from the pool to decide who will fight for the title next.

    Heavyweight Championship Belt: 1v1
    Middleweight Championship Belt: 1v1
    Lightweight Championship Belt: 1v1
    Duo Championship Belts: 2v2
    Trio Championship Belts: 3v3

We can also consider more serious Pay Per View style events in which all belts will be on the line and prizes will be added by BPG. This could happen once a month or whatever we decide.

Whether or not this will actually happen will depend on community interest and willingness to help. If we can get enough people working together I imagine this could turn into a nice weekly event with lots of possibilities. As I'm posting this on a Thursday I'm not sure there is enough time to set it up properly for tomorrow but who knows :) At this point everything is up for discussion, including day of week, start time, rules, etc.
