These patches are confusing, why not just say nothing and patch the game then a week latter tell everyone "We brought back funhulks guys!"
I have a feeling Mahogany is going to be wood from Yssam and Limestone could be from Ruby, Cairn or the mainland. Flatsedge, if anything like the real plant, will probably be found in Yssam and the mainland. Point is all this stuff is probably regional gathered now.
Needing iron ore and wood instead of an iron ingot and timber is kind of bullshit for people who who are using mats for other crafts, but one can work around it.
more delays please im going back out of town tonight! looks good this will get a ton of people out farming like mad! edit: how will this all work? Will you have to craft the deed first, then claim a plot? then will the plot ask for say 5 foundation blocks so many windows/shingles etc? if so will you have to bring the materials to the plot itself? more info please edit 2: are there housing mods that you can make with the other materials? edit3: cephalopod ink has me worried. Not everyone has ships/friends to kill the kraken and i really hope your adding octopus mobs or something that ANYONE can get even if rare. Ease of access is huge for something like this. Its already geared to be alot easier to nolifers and huge organized clans. edit 4: after reviewing the video and todays info i cant see where the deed draft is needed....
When you release this patch, can you delay the housing plots becoming active until prime time? I would find it highly gross if you launched a patch like this during working hours and the majority of people lost their opportunity to have a shot at placing a house at their desired location. Or maybe the mats that haven't been added yet will actually be rare enough to obtain this point would be mute. Just a thought. (don't care about EU's except Ninogan)
Just delay it til next Friday, that way those, like myself, that have mon-Fri jobs also have a chance to get a house :-/
More the latter, I'd be surprised if anyone could place any house house the first prime time after it patches.
