At some point every game developer has to pull the trigger and launch. We have years of development ahead of us as this is an ongoing actively developed game. Launch simply means the end of wipes so your progress will be retained going forward forever now. We started with a complete game and have already made a considerable amount of changes with a volunteer team. With launch comes a reliable income stream through subscriptions that will be used to fund full time development. Development will get faster and patches more impacting as we move into this phase. We're not building RoA to just launch and walk away as a Dev team. We will be heavily developing RoA for many years to come. We're just getting into the good stuff guys it's going to be a great year for the game as we add in new features and continue to polish, balance and fix bugs.
Dont delete my posts please, I dont take kindly to information supressioners --- Post updated --- so at what point, do the promisses your making start to come true? Befor your first patch to fix bugs, competely crashes your servers? or after you delete my last forum posts mocking you?
They've made a lot of successful, positive changes so far. What are you foaming at the mouth for? This patch has some bumps. Relax. Lot of drama queens here these days.
Some of you guys (most) are forgetting New Dawn is not Darkfall, it's a new game in the Darkfall engine that looks like darkfall but has so many drastic changes that you can't ever call it Darkfall. --- Post updated ---
question ? will there be the same opportunity for REDS to get meditation points and quest to keep up with the BLUES ? or is this a be BUDDY BLUE game design. just wondering if it is favored unfairly to blues?
Reds have equal access I believe. Meditation points come mostly from completing tasks (similar to quests) and doing dungeon dailies.
