Absolutely amazing work Miasma! --- Post updated --- Even though I hated the trend of pushing the patch back. I feel like this patch is a huge one in the eyes of DF players. I think this is a huge step in the right direction for BPG and the game as a whole. Nice work everyone!
The patch looks pretty fantastic, did wilderness portals get put in? I didn't see them in the patch notes
Slashing/Piercing/Bludgeoning Weakness - Increased cooldown by 500%, increased stat costs by 400%, reduced magnitude by 50% why? potions were used to counter this.. people bad for not using em
This is an amazing patch, guys. I am extra happy because a lot of this stuff is things that I asked for and you guys actually care enough to listen to the ideas of the community, that is really awesome! I am really happy to see the cooking and gathering changes, I think they were sorely needed and I hope to see more and more gathering improvements. Mushrooms and dirt being added is really cool! 10 more cooking ingredients, that's a lot! I like all the spell changes too, and removing the damage cap from monsters is a very good idea.
No they did not, the full system will be released with launch, but we have a lot of work put into them so far and they're coming along very nicely!
