My only wish is the elemental arrows actually had like fire tips and such like AC had. I fucking loved that game. The flaming arrows were sick.
We'll get there with that kind of stuff.
You can use the arrows with any bow right? And what happens if you use transmutes?

Do player city billboards have timers to teleport out? Otherwise people will use them to escape a raid.
Didn't make it into the patch. We're considering either a timer on all billboards or disabling billboard while enemies are spotted in the city. What you guys think?

As for impulse, it has a faster cast time right now and we'll replace the 15 second cooldown and we'll see how it goes. Based on all feedback received we'll continue to tweak if necessary.
Timer only having it block port for enemy in zone leads to a lot of people with alts logged in to your city in walls, in rocks and under building. Unless you can fix geometry exploration I would prefer a timer .
Arrow protection enchant:
Ichor, hoarfrost, stormrune, shadowcrest.
Clicking before a casting timer is finished with “catch” the cast and will require you to release again to finish.

First of all, it's so different that you should just bring-back shrapnel. I don't see why both of those spell can't co-exist now that i can see how it's like.
I see impulse as a buff for mages that put heavies at a greater disadvantage. With a cobra staff, it's nearly instant. It's a no brainer type of spell. Now, heavies must rely on archery a lot more. With the arrow prot enchant(as soon as we find out what it requires), it will be over for them. I don't care how op ppl thought heavies were, it cost a lot to play as one and it's terrible on most of the best mages who wish to try it.
I also think that the GM aura makes impulse better than it should be. The reason for that: when you see GM aura while pushing an enemy, you got confusion in mind. If not, you proceed with begone for the pursuit. Now, ppl can just cast impulse first or confusion. You can hold impulse to get them to look-up too. I used to hold heal other for no reason in a 1on1, i don't have to do that no more. It's a game changer.
The aura on impulse should look different if you are going to keep the casting time this low. As for the cooldown, it just has to be high. It's a free-cast meaning that it's completely free of risk or counters unless you are disabled. Eye rot's cooldown got increased coz it was too easy; we used to cast that on cooldown. Wof CD got increased coz it was op & casted on cooldown. Impulse must receive the same treatment and it will be fine.
I really hope you guys are looking at changing the enchanting crafting menu into a more streamlined version similar to other crafting menus.
You having to post this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the tedious nonsense that is the enchanting profession.
Why is this a problem again? I don't remember people asking for billboards out of NPC towns, I remember them being asked to be placed in player cities simply so we could duel without getting zapped by towers.
Nothing wrong with them being in NPC towns, if players continue to choose to stay in a blue city over a player city, thats probably because player cities are still trash value and give no benefit to a clan over an NPC city. IE: markets
The only problem with bspikes was it's spammability and it's next-to-exploit appearance.
Whats the problem with shrapnel being a higher cooldown variant again?
PS: Impulse looks and sounds awesome, way too strong vs CD tho, it's stormblast without the minute CD...
For sure and we have some ideas floating around. We'll do some other stuff first so aren't accused of only doing QoL all the time.

I think making a timer for teleporting would be sufficient, much like portal chambers back in the day. If you get damaged, timer stops. Make timer about 20-30 seconds and players who raid will have enough time to rush to a city's billboard to see if anyone is pussyfooting.
Make timer the same as a portal chamber both should have the same timer for use
why does everything in this game have to be about FORCING fights.

its ok for squanto to get away whenever he wants because hes god tier bunnyhopper right? but its not ok for a scrub to teleport away from an UNWANTED attack.
fml even in uo you could recall away in an instant if someone tried to jump you as long as you didnt aggress.
I would go with a timer on billboards similar to what portals into dungeons have. An enemy being spotted in the city, would just be a grief fest waiting to happen.

Are there any plans for graphics improvements? The game is getting rather polished but there are still some graphic assets that remain from the original inception.
Also, how about getting the original graphic for sacred missile + sound...no idea why they changed that one it was so ba. - perhaps in the store shop.
Can I buy the original shards / unholy flames and cursed bolt sounds too???
Oh and I’ll pay really good for the invisible cursed bolt and unholy flames, lol
