Hopefully, someday, they'll allow us to change our upgrades from the character tab. --- Post updated --- There is going to be an initial surge of group fights, then once everyone is maxed - it'll turn into a solo PvP hotspot for a while. (At least that's how most every change like this turns out) Once everyone is maxed.. maybe Relics will be on the table
I know it was mentioned in the thread, but the team is extremely thankful to all of you who helped test these changes. The immense amount of testing and feedback allowed us to finish up these changes quickly. Now that this patch is live, we will be shifting focus to the Relic System and the other topics we discussed in our Q&A.
horrendous change. --- Post updated --- i dueled alot on pts. - a full infernal guy takes forever to be killed, even being hitted with a q5 cobra - arrow damage is bizarrely high, same fkr daggers - equalize r50/r90 nukes was maybe the worst decision ever
Add in new skill that acts as battlespikes did (so everyone has access to it), it was a cool mechanic from darkfall 1 Just make them slightly less spammable
Why even get rid of battlespike hopping? I honestly don’t understand why anyone would want this gone.
You a braindead Ook? Or what? Almost anyone that's played this game for an extended period has grown to hate bspike spamming. Hell, Squanto abused it the most out of anyone and he's fine with it. It was blatantly broken. Hey, guys, here's a 1s cooldown on Evade that you can instantly turn and parry or ray after! They hurt heavy players more than they ever helped. Legit can never get in melee against a smart player using bspikes.
It is a mechanic that was not intended. People who did not have them were instantly at a disadvantage. I loved them but, it's something that should have been fixed years ago.
Or maybe we'll finally see people using stormblast and begone to push people away. Janosh did it to me one fight and I just lul'd at how silly it was that people don't do it more often.
You mean.... like Shrapnel? (Neglecting Stormblast and Begone because they aren't similar to bspikes)
As any movement skill should.... Positioning with movement skills should be predictive - not reactive. We need a little chess with our FPS.
