The fov changes are really weird to..... this will change things a lot more than you guys probably realize... I foresee it being viewed as mandatory to play at 100.
Would be no reason not to be at 100. If you like begone, change is friggin awesome. If you don't you will not like it
so you use a new begone scroll to get to 100 every time? thought it doesnt stay at 100 or level up natrally
Great patch. Very happy to see the high rank bows removed from quest rewards, I would love to see all gear removed from quest rewards in the future. Manual pages as loot sounds really nice, I love stuff like that. Being able to craft manuals is such an awesome change, no more spamming disables while farming. The fov change is interesting, I'll have to try it but I think I like it. --- Post updated --- Edit: The begone/come hither change is awesome. Now we can have true testing of these spells and see if further changes are needed.
if you are referring to ford's post above, when he says "would be no reason not to be at 100", he is speaking about new fov distance change option to 100 (wouldnt be any reason for someone not to max it), not the begone skill level.
More awesome changes, looking forward to seeing how this effects the larger characters in melee mode with the increased FoV. Adding in melee skill books also superb, really hated having to spam disables on mobs to get it leveled. Also skill books perhaps open the door to including revive and gank in there somewhere as a solid method to level it.
While working on video options, is it possible to enable windowed full screen ? so I can switch monitor whitout alt tabbing and buging out when coming back to game.
Liking this patch a lot. With the new FOV I'm going to have to adjust my sensitivity, do you think you could add a little box by the the sensitivity sliders that displays a numeric value and possibly allows me to input a custom sensitivity setting ie. [1.333]
Heh I figured I'd see you make the first post on this Haha. We know that the magnitude may need a tweak on a few abilities(Come hither/begone of course) given this change. However we like to do things in stages instead of a whole host of changes at once. This allows us to polish each change and see its effect before acting on potential rebalances it might require. We're going to be looking at this over the next little while before we look to tweak it. Play with it and let us know how it translates in game guys!
