Ok, there is something you don't understand. Mahirim and ork used to have less effective reach than human. So the difference between alfar and mahirim was smaller than the difference between alfar and human. That also means that human had longer effective reach than mahirim. Now, mahirim has the best effective reach in the game, which means that they have a better reach than human. How is the reach problem the same?
I know what you're saying by "effective reach". That doesn't mean anything however when I'm asking about hard reach distance. Lets say I'm a Mahirim male and I look parallel to the ground. I'll still hit my target, but might not see exactly where they're going. Is the real reach of mahirim much farther than Alfar Female or is it actually negligible like the old Alfar to everything else?
No you are not. As a mahirim, you cannot look parallel to the ground and hit your target if his hitbox is lower than your melee heigth, you have to at least target the top of his hitbox. So when I talk about effective reach, I'm talking about the maximum distance, parallel to the ground, that a mahirim needs to be to his target to be able to use his range. Mahirim is now first. They used to be 2nd worst.
Can we get actual numbers for racial reach and also by gender? Oh and also, the speed/dmg changes for greatswords
Reach is overestimated. The best fix on this patch was the fix on ghost hits. Its looks really better now

You should get all racial skills at 100 at character creation. If you already had a character, you should receive the new racial skills at 100, and for the already existing ones, you should be able to max it in one action.
Not sure if this has been posted but Justice Bringers and the other new swords are bugged and cost 2,000 per craft when all others are way cheaper. Double casting has not been fixed, I am sure this has been reported though.
I believe all crafting costs are intentional. Probably apart of their economical changes that are coming in waves. The rest of the weapons are probably going to follow suit.
I don't think the Free med points should be added to quest rewards because not everyone is going to want to do quest lines and are therefor forcing them to do something they don't want to do to keep up with the people that are doing it, kind of like the same problem we have now.
Im sorry but 3 months worth of Med, they are no longer a new player with these gains. 3 months is too much
What you dont understand though is after 3 months they are no longer new players! 500k is excessive. Give them 100K or something. That's almost a month worth. That is plenty of time for them to learn the game and the ropes. There is no way to test this in this beta without a wipe. Once you get mid tier skills gold is pretty easy to get if you focus on it. Mid tier skills take only a few weeks with the gains that are currently in place. I could be wrong, I know scroll prices are a gold sink for new players but I don't know. Think this will hurt the eco in the long run. Hyperinflation kicks in very fast in DF1 currently. You guys will have to do some serious tweaking to make this viable. Time will tell
