    Maybe missed this in the other thread but what exactly does revert combat mean? There's been so many polls plus request for beta revert I'm kinda lost on what were getting. The poll you showed in the other thread would be somewhat of a revert but not a full one is some people eyes. Is it to early to be clear what's coming? Or was that poll you posted is what were getting as revert? For example...20% casting speed thing...in the poll this stays in...but this really shouldn't.

    We've reverted nearly everything to before the major combat change, may.. .whatever the date.

    The items that are not returning are self buff stats, buff other changes, 20% decrease in the post-cast timer, eye rot and pungent mist (those these two spells are getting some buffs so we'll see how that goes.

    If I'm recalling correctly then everything else should be back to "normal".

    New ways to get 120 pots yes please. Stat advantages don't belong in a full loot game.

    Why not just do the patches as theyre done, rather than hold for other things?

    120 stats should be obtainable via gathering and pve’ing just make it very slow and if people want it faster then they have to use pots.

    Make alll 110/120 pots have a extremely rare drop rate across the board of every mob

    20 % decreased betwen casting spells was good ....and why you didnt want release first the combat revert and after the other part of the patch ....
    If you doing that people start again to play and you can work to the other part of the patch in peace ....
    Why you want the live server empty for other 2/3weeks and release first the revert patch on the live server its the best way for test bugs....

    Granted we have drifted away from a true mmo with how easy the ‘grind’ is, stat advantages 100% belong in an mmorpg...

    Could always have stat advantages impact pve (ability to farm) but not PvP. Simple concept but for some reason never embraced.

    I wouldn't mind if it was implemented well. Like add a new “monster hunter” skill that increases damage done/ decreases dmg taken by monsters. You could even add a feature that makes a certain spawn give more xp each day/ some bonus loot to create some more organic pvp.

    And we have to wait 2-3 weeks for return back....but they fix many old combat bugs ... i cant wait lol

    How do you define a true mmo? This is nonsense. Give us an endless pve progression grind, so many ways you could do this, just use your imagination. People need to be able to compete in pvp without having to grind so they can experience what makes this game great (PVP) on an even footing before they inevitably quit since the pve is shit anyways.

    First of all, no we do not have that. I'd wager 90% of the community doesn't bother to get their stats to 120 because it is a huge hassle. And with the freemium model it takes longer to grind when you start playing as a newbie. A new player isn't going to get sucked into the game based on the shit pve they are forced to endure before they are ready to try dueling somebody. But that is irrelevant, because nobody enjoys the pvp in this game anyways because there is no good outlet for it just shitty zergs almost all the time. AHEM GIB ARENA

    You seem to have missed the part where he suggested there should be a PVE grind, but not a PVP grind.
    The original Guild Wars did this and it worked, though it wasn't an MMO. You could create a max level character that could only PVP and unlock spells/skills through your PVE characters or by winning PVP matches in the various arenas. Eventually they added a package that allowed you to make PVP characters with everything unlocked but you were locked out of PVE content (which made no difference to PVP other than being able to unlock fancy skins).
    Granted, Guild Wars was an RPG but wasn't an MMO, much less an open world, full loot one. However, it may be possible to come up with a way to apply the same general concept here. Specially if you consider that some of the people want an arena.
