I'm a fan of the founder packs. They don't seem in any way pay 2 win, and the sword looks like a cool addition to the game, although it will get flak for not being craftable. I've never seen a problem with founder packs, they reward generous donaters with purely cosmetic items, titles, and slightly better access to the game at early stages and time and in turn the "business" (a word we forget from time to time) makes a profit to deliver the game we all love. I'm curious about the playerbase gaining access to the dev forums tho, do they just get to look? input? what's to stop misleading info from leaking if your worried about that sort of thing? On another note I do hope that a free trial of sort is given on launch week so that new comers can experience the game. The price tag to public beta may steer those players away given this franchises, 'failed' history.
Charging for public beta??? New players won't pay this.... Damn, I thought the game would be out by summer...
So is applying for alpha invite on the site enough to stand an equal chance or do you have to be a fanboy by default?
I am curious to see pictures of the "founder blade"(Legend founder package) unless that is the blade on the update?
