Aoe spam is bad for the game so even if this change Isn’t t great it’s still good imo. We have to consider that this is the first part of an even bigger change that involves splitting spell chanting, witchcraft and greater magic into the other schools. But who knows what the plan is anymore just one small change after another with no real way to give proper feedback when we have no idea what the combat road map looks like.
Wouldn't putting WoF on the 90s cool down stop people from being able to Stormblast super jump? The entire magic system needs to have all globe cool downs removed and reward players that stick to one type of magic with a synergy buffs. If you only land fire magic attacks for 3 spells in a row for instance maybe you get a fire shield. Some suggestions The haste spell should also be reintroduced as a "Melee Power" that consumes fire essence. Slow Spell changed to Melee Power Impale changed to Melee Power Tornado changed to melee power Still would like to see skills added to meditation that can activate, but will fizzle until 100. They should summon resources and reset to zero. \mining, fishing, chopping, herb gathering. This way people can farm resources or even rare new resources by collecting meditation points. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The local vault on houses would still be used by people who are maxing out inventory space or want a place to trade with house tenets and should be kept in game. A lottery in the game should never give nothing, a bare minimum reward should be clan platinum or meditation points unless your buying lottery tickets with resources.

I am worried about this lotto ticket from the champion. Is this going to introduce lots of Pots into the game, or tons of gold, or q5 mats, or rares. What is the loot pool?
Wall of force has been placed on the global cooldown group with AoE spells. I hate WoF as a spell, but I don't think this change does anything other than make the combat feel more clunky. A better change would be to: 1) Reduce the magnitude (the force, not the size) of WoF at level 4 and 5 to the magnitude of a level 1 WoF 2) Make it so that you are immune to disables while inside of a WoF 3) You are Immune to the effects of WoF (the pull) if you were affected by it previously within the last 30 seconds (prevents WoF spam) Also, does this mean that WoF now has the same cooldown as AoEs? (~35 seconds? instead of the ~70 seconds it was at before?) or just when you cast one or the other it puts the rest on cooldown for ~35 seconds. It just makes combat feel more clunky and limits what spells you can use. This change will make needles unusable. Better change would be to either: 1) Reduce the splash size of needles 2) Reduce the damage of needles 3) Both
It’s clear to understand that there’s going to be gaps now in a long range encounter Iam fine with this but this is something that needs to be tested not just boasting about it on paper --- Post updated --- used the phrase ‘rocket science’ to mean something extremely complicated. But when you break down the ideas behind it, it’s really pretty simple.
is it so bad? "we gonna keep the vanilla combat and add content" i bought this game believing.. i see no problem if i like these spells.
In the tos it says that you did not buy the game but you are simply renting your time in it. This doesn’t mean you have no say or any useful feedback . It simply means that BPG can change the game how they see fit and in all honesty it’s still fun with a few growing pains. Really not worth quitting over unless you are just board then quit no big deal. Most people quit for about 6 months with the current flow of content/changes
they forgot the "content" part and failed making it a subscription game, with a 3 months grind and making noobs too exposed on vet griefing (like always).
Currently from what I can see all changes in the past 3 months have been completely based around the idea of makeing the game more new player friendly. Only real thing I see that is not new player friendly is the current gear gap. Free black bolt, Free encumbranc, Free King Liar .
