Read today's patch notes for the changes that are currently on the public test server focusing on making certain areas of the game more casual friendly. Read more: Public Test Server Patch Notes - August 10th, 2017
Buff other spells (Haste/Ironskin/Fireward/etc) have had their duration reduced to 30 seconds Cast time has been reduced to 0.5 seconds and the range has been increased to be equal to Sacrifice distance (this does not affect Spellchanting hymns) Holy shit did not expect that. (Does human passive increase the duration to 45 seconds?) Does the 75% reduction in crafting include taming? Because that will bring it down from 5 seconds to like 2 seconds. That could cause problems with people just bringing steedgrass and a whistle (like I do for sieges).
Buff other spells (Haste/Ironskin/Fireward/etc) have had their duration reduced to 30 seconds Cast time has been reduced to 0.5 seconds and the range has been increased to be equal to Sacrifice distance (this does not affect Spellchanting hymns) Duration nerfed and cooldown increased for Slow, Delayed Shot and Tongue Rot Words can't describe how insane team fights are going to be when trying to reapply buff others. (Personally, I'm so happy they finally changed how buff others work. Idk about sacrifice range, but we need to test it properly to see the effect is has on pvp before conjecturing on how good/bad it may be.) GET ON DAT TEST SERVER BOIS.
Buff other spells (Haste/Ironskin/Fireward/etc) have had their duration reduced to 30 seconds I also agree that i think 30 seconds is just way too short of a time, i could settle for like the current duration to be like halfed. I also think the crafting and gathering changes being made here will flood the market with items and raw materials but we will have to see what the test server feed back is.
No, the changes to travel are not in this patch. This one is focused more on character progression and crafting/harvesting.
i Think i read that all weapons will be changed to two categories 2 handers and 1 handers, has that been added in as well?
Tactical Buff others? Dope. @Battle Smurf is going to shit his pants Also, scaled jewelery brought a small tear to my eye
Whats the dura on a fresh alfar crafted blackbolt w/o TF? Can we do like half and half? Keep trueforge weapon and get rid of tf armor? People already don't use staves more expensive than blackbolts. Less dura is even less incentive to spend 10k on a cobra.
What's the difference between a dwarf crafted bone chest and a bone chest crafted by another race? I'm afraid I'll never craft armor again on my main.
I'm going to increase base dura on everything. Been pushing real hard on the skill changes so it's not in just yet.
fuck ya this looks awesome, Do I have to download a entire new game client or can I just connect to the PTR with the lobby?>
Plate fillers are a whole 13 dura lul. Plate helmet is 20 dura lul. Chest piece is actually ok and has 60 dura. Fillers and helms need more dura. Every piece of bone/studded/leather needs more dura, they aren't even worth q2 enchants anymore. R40 axe came out at 80 dura, that is probably ok. We shouldn't have to take 3 fucking gear sets to go farming. Gona go find a mob spawn and test these gains now. ----------------------------- An average player should be able to grind out 75 in a melee skill in an hour or less now. All the melee abilities were correctly awarded when I got the skill so that was nice. Now for buff others: I think this is completely wrong direction to take them. I would honestly rather they get completely removed than become even more a zerging tool than they already were before. The only people that will be able to 'afford' to cast these buffs mid combat will be people zerging down numerically inferior or significantly less skilled players. That is one thing the game needs less of, force multipliers. Not to mention it nerfs one of the biggest reasons to play human...... I would leave buff others alone and/or consolidate them into less cast, same with self buffs, or remove them entirely rather than make this change as is on test. Its that bad of a change. -------------------------- Harvesting changes I like. Its so much less tedious and actually worth it enough to be interesting. People should be able to easily afford basic r40 sets no problem now. --------------------------------- The race change UI is actually pretty nice. Good job on that.
