I really hope you guys fix some bugs in this patch. This shits been going on for a long time now. -fps drop bug -Multiple visual bugs while capping villages. The worst being sometimes you cant even see the points while you are capping -Items in house bank randomizing locations constantly -Spells going threw the floor and threw people in houses This is a pretty weak patch it you cant deal with some of these.
Guess they should just halt development until they can figure it out huh? Cause that's not what a QA team is for eh? Good patch.
The FPS bug is an issue with Nvidia Geforce Experience 3.x that is effecting all 32 bit applications. Fixes have been put in for village issues and blue bugging also.
I switched to an older driver and an older GeForce experience and I play in full screen and I don’t get the fps bug anymore.
--- Post updated --- Well first off im running 64 bit. This happens to me 1 out of 6 or so times i use my runebook to port anywhere and i have to relog. Are you saying the only way to fix this is run an old version of the driver ? That doesn't sound like a permanent fix. Is there some sort of fix comming from your end? Sounds like this happens to others not useing nvidia 32 bit like myself.
which fps issue are we talking about? the issue we refer to as the load lag bug where after so many recalls eventually your game drops to 1 fps every few seconds for a second or so, or the one where just randomly with seemingly no particular triggers your game will just freeze for periods of 5-20 seconds multiple times over the period of a couple minutes? I get both and after getting the second one time in a fight at blackwood since coming back I uninstalled nvidia geforce experience and I still have gotten it. No Idea how to reproduce either of them 100% of the time, closest I got is just recalling multiple times after extended periods of play is when the "load lag" bug hits. (Extended being like 3-4 hours minimum usually, can be sooner but usually not.)
Good stuff! I was literally wishing just the other day all gem enchants cost 100g cause it's so much easier to just make some bulk gem enchants and use them to build bags later. Great work on everything!
I would love the GUI bug where the splash screen covers your screen still after going through a load screen to be fixed. That being said, I cant wait to queue up for the battle arenas in my capital.
yall need to stop saying this, because it isn't fully true, I don't have nvdia and have these problems. Their is more to it.
Global message has been added stating when a village has been capped and by the number of members in the party who capped it. (Ex, A party of 6 has successfully captured the village of Trinwood.) Personally I don't like this addition. I think that giving playercount is giving too much information. If a small group caps a village then a larger group can instantly port over to push their shit in with the notice board? And if a big group caps then no one will go to check it out because they know they're outnumbered without even being there. Cappers will only find outnumbered fights and ambushers will have all of the advantage of deciding if they have odds or not before going. I feel like it's just giving too much info away for nothing. In UW there were scripts which watched system 24/7 and reported it to clan chat... With this feature we will see a return of that sort of thing. Bots reporting less than 3 people at caps or w/e for the zerg to roll in isn't fun imo and people will be put-off by it.
so we know a group of 18 is going to the next village the 3 of us will stay home cause we have no chance vs 18?
Nah, es good. When they removed system messages froM holdings a significant portion of pvp was removed as a result. I understand why they removed them (I don't agree with the decision) however there was never a replacement for it. This is in a way some semblance of a substitute. Being informed is a great thing. You know a large group of 10 is at s village. You have a party Of 10 yourself and want an actual pvp engagement that is enjoyable. Maybe you want to 10v1 somebody (it's ok to Zerg in a pvp game!) and now you can assume where they might go next. It's an abstract way of implementing "arena" as well. You're able to"que" up and make an educated guess of your pvp environment you'd like to fight in. So, es good.
