Doesn’t bother me as much as some games that cover half the screen when you put on helmets. I think it’s more doomed that they want to take out full loot of blue areas.
Respectfully, literally, I didn't see anything worth voting for --- Post updated --- Or maybe you're just autistic. I cannot fucking stand people who want to take unique spell effects AWAY from combat. Some of you dorks would literally prefer Darkfall combat to be stripped of everything except 1 left click melee attack, 1 left click ranged attack, parry, and transfers Anyway fuck it I don't care anymore. Might as well just wait for SC at this rate
We'll be adding to the list and the community will have opportunities to suggest ideas through future q&a that we'll do. We'll have threads up ahead of it so you can suggest something for the q&a if you cannot make it to ask it live.
I can't believe buff others got a pass, but removing screen shit did not. I'm used to screen shakes, i don't notice it, but it makes the game look bad.
I was surprised as well a bit on several topics and the screen shake was one of those. Being as all the items on the list were approved by over 50% we'll likely include them in the next round.
i cant wait to never lose gear because im a vet PvPer who will force noobies to go grey and then never risk my bag absolution is never coming back, i highly doubt the ACTIVE player base would ever vote for those blue changes, esp with the alignment system the way it is. EVERYBODY that wants to be blue is blue, especially people who you guys would never consider to have the "blue playstyle"
Nah fam I’m a blue player. I also PvP. I go red because of the zones or alignment bugged. Abso never left we’re just under different tags atm. I voted for those changes because if we ever do a steam release we’re going to need them. Because kids like Squanto wanted to go around ganking everyone for no reason. At least when we get a bunch of players when we go freemum and steam release our new noobs won’t be losing shit because people want to go around killing anything that walks.
This change isn't for anyone except new players in mainland areas. They also talked about expanding on this in the future to add sort of "tiers" to the world and farming, so that noobs can stay in their comfort areas as long as they'd like before moving out to swing with the big dogs and earn higher tier materials. Anyone farming high tier mobs and looking for pvp won't be effected. Or at least that's how I'm interpreting it (could be wrong).
from my understanding of the poll, blue players won't lose equipped gear in lawful areas. as 99% of the vet population is blue, i think that this could cause issues
Items in the paperdoll would not drop, but any items they have in their bag from farming would. It is important to note that we have a regionalization effort underway internally which includes moving around some mob spawns. Lawful lands will be where players go to increase their character's stats and skill levels and to farm low to mid tier items, whereas Lawless lands will be where the most valuable items and monsters are found.
