None of these changes interest me in coming back to the game. Unfortunately I can't detail why I think its wrong without a forum ban for 'negative feedback' so I guess I will just go back to watching the game burn from a distance.
BPG does not want to hear any negative truth. BPG you do not know how to fix your own problems you created !! Just because you worked hard on something, does not mean you did a good job. The players of darkfall is darkfall, and your not listening to everyone. The mine patch is good, your way late doing it. BPG you need a good solid patch, to bring back players, or darkfall will eventually bleed out and die !!! Talk to people, everyone, see what needs to be done !!
Yes, mines were money printers for whoever hit em first...so 3 years later we go from ?36? to 12... Most of the people asking for this change have over 4 digit rares... hello? lobbying much lol? this change made them a lot richer.. How many sieges have we had since this change? More than 1? 1/3 chance for a siege while sieges were pretty much the only chance to get people to come back and maybe stick around. Also skyrocketing the price of rare ores only makes it harder for new players. The game is hard enough on new players. imo mines should have had rates reduced, and these timer mines should have been added as something clans could fight over and capture. Eta on next siege for the mine outside?
I'll give this game maximum 1 year before it shuts down completely IF they keep going in this direction. Game needs real content for example. Instead of wonder cities there should be relics instead, that works like a wonder but clans can actually steal them from each other, otherwise only the biggest/strongest clan will have the wonder cities. That's just a cool feature imo. And then, the thing I hate to do the most is farming enchant mats. The fact that you need 5 materials out of 3 different components, then for a mage staff you need 5 materials out of 6 different components. Would be so much more fun if the mobs had a chance to drop enchanting gems instead. Well that's just some of my own opinions.
Wes Furtive used to do enchanting for people. You'd tell him what you want and hand him what you wanted enchanted, pay him his fee, boom - you now have an enchanted piece of equipment. He actually kept stock of enchanting mats and ran it like a business. But everyone else just whines about things being too tough.
