You bugger I had been farming those since sunday lol.
I farmed them since Sunday as well. Got to the point where I was thinking maybe it wasn't Oathliege after all.
I think somebody else got one yesterday but they didn't post here yet. There is 2 oathliege toys in the DB.
Oh, interesting. Do the db entries account for un-looted items that dropped?
Nope it only counts what's been placed in a player inventory.
Donaddor found the last one
noooooo! grats though!
dammit, are these toy any used now? i found one as well
Think they’re just collectibles atm but they wanna add some extra use to them later
I want toys that you wind up, set em on the ground, and they waddle around. And you can feed em a stack of fireworks and they shoot em up one at a time... I already have vanity bank items....
Scrubby Bear was suggesting in comms that they can summon 1 of the mob, that corresponds to the toy every 24 hours. That'd be sick.
Anything would be sick besides fulfilling the role of medium siege stones in the bank (decor)
another worthless change and a total wasted time on useless content.
Actually, not much dev time at all was used on this. They already had the models for the mobs, just had to put a base on them, add them to the loot table. This wasn't even the main patch, it was a bonus surprise. Negative community is negative.
One of our artists did the models and they were simply uploaded into the game, this didn't take away any programmer time which is why we did it, we have more coming as well as many people enjoyed the scavenger hunt and hotpots they made
Even though I personally don't care much about it. I see a lot of happy faces. It's definitely NOT wasted time or useless content as you can see by the replies.
That is just your opnion. Oblivious there are enough people that think otherwise. I think that is important to add these kind of thing. Keeping current players happy and there should be stuff for all kinds of players. Not just PvPers.
I'll admit, I was being a little speculative with my post, but I'm glad to hear that it indeed took no programmer time away from the rest of the game. I'm personally a HUGE fan of things like this (along with quests, tasks, etc) so I'm looking forward to seeing which mobs are next!
