The racial changes that Umberto talked about in the discussion thread he made will not be implemented before launch as we are still reviewing our options. This is something we can and will circle back to after the game releases. What exactly do you mean though by "combat terrain"?
make racial stuff after release is kinda sucks, it will force ppl to change races.. now bout combat: we have alot of useless spells in game, we should remove it or make it better. (beargrim thread) we have some passives in the same way (guardsman, indestructible idk, if u release the game with that alot of new ppl accidentally will stick with that and us vets will need to say "hey its horrible, come to the META) any adjust on melee damage (or reach) any adjust on overall damage (@Kilset thread) nerf on debuffs, self buffs and other buffs. not consensus but my suggestions: - remove mana shield / mage killer combo - make jump castings/archery possible ( it makes the game more fluid for the rest of ppl in the earth planet) i will add more stuff later.. brb
The damage bug has already been fixed on test and will be in next patch. We are also tweaking spells (Some that are currently useless or removing some that are considered "noob traps" that they fall into when leveling).
Ah you mean about combat. I forgot to mention that we did make changes to some spells. As Bloodscar mentioned some spells were removed, some requirements altered, and others had some small tweaks made to them. We'll release the full details when we patch. As for your other comments, we plan to do a focus patch on combat after launch. We have an internal plan already to shift gears to monthly patches where we can focus on content and key areas of the game. This is what Asheron's Call did for the many years it was around, and the monthly patches always provided something new for players, even if it was a smaller update while they worked on larger projects. We aim to take this same approach, but due to the nature of pre-release development we cannot follow that schedule at the moment.
Better than I expected TBH However id still like debuffs to get a duration nerf and cooldown increase Buff others to get range increased to that off sacrifice with haste durations reduced, and protection buff others increased and durations reduced. Id like it to be down near the 25-30 second range 45 max with 100 skill and a q5 spell duration And I'll wait until the patch to judge but Im still betting Destroyer is going to be a problem in its current form And melee in general probably too strong for how easy it is but w.e still going to be better than any other mmo so can't bitch TOO much

Not by launch, but I know it's something we plan to accomplish. One thing worth mentioning is enhancements to the journal. We are working to expand the functionality of the "Journal" (what you see in the second Task System image) to other aspects of the game to streamline and make the navigation more user friendly. Another thing that we very well may get in before launch is an updated Help Page in game. We are in the process of redesigining that and creating the content needed for all the various help pages themselves. Whether or not it makes it in by launch (we hope so) it is currently being worked on and something we feel is another needed piece of the puzzle for new user experience. I believe that is exactly what it is, but I'll let @Neilk confirm when he wakes up tomorrow.
