Enjoy gettin dumpstered, but it sounds like you already are....
It wont be on par until people can make it and if they did not release the materials to level it ahead of time then people would have been unable to test how "on par" it is for weeks or longer..
How are you unable to grasp such a simple concept?

I hope that with this armour patch that the fucking spell disabling on higher encumbrance is removed. Bring back heavy hybrid!
It's going on the PTR before live, where GMs can provide unlimited resources if need be.

@Metalkon how many pieces will a robe have, 2? Also would we be able to wear a metal helm or leather helm with the robe?
Also could u tell us what attributes the robes will have since we know leather will have more archery dmg, would be cool to know what to expect when I get on test server, also can someone link the test server download thanks

Nothing wrong, but the system armor uses currently is a point defense system.
Basically every point of armor protection resist's the same amount of damage.
However we also have an Armor Grade system that provides no extra protection.
Tweaking the way X amount of damage is Reduced over time like an energy shield in Halo would allow for much stronger weapons and attacks to be added to the game which adds a layer of complexity to combat that will melt peoples brains.
Simplest solution is to just give people perks for using higher grade equipment.
I'm still waiting for enchanting UI, please make it simple and TC. I think that this patch is good but please don't make dye difficult to find (no grind) don't make armors color a tedious thing like UW did. Thanks.

Was really hopping to see some type of revert. Considering how yalls combat is, I can only imagine how balancing your new armor sets are going to go.

Crying because you might have to change something you do is silly.
The best way to distance themselves from the current broken system with numbers of people testing and showing how bugged damage is, is to layer more broken shit on top of the current broken shit to form a full pile of shit then add some broken ttc that Iam definitely not that excited about based on current content updates.
i complained alot about the current combat on discord.. ALOT
i remember some ppl defending it for their lifes.. few weeks later these same ppl started to complain too. (juice, squanto and few others..)
this time i hope that more ppl come to test it and give decent feedback because these changes have a good chance to destroy completley the combat if they make it wrong.
A revert isn't exactly coming but the stuff we voted for in the polls will be coming.
More details on specifics will come out over the next few weeks. This was just a small pulse check update about the general pieces of the patch.
Combat changes based on the polling is planned to go in alongside it and there will be testing and feedback time for the community to get involved in.
More specifics and highlights/screenshots will come out leading up to the patch day. It is planned for early May around our 2 year anniversary to go live.
