So much hate could of been avoided in this thread if this was communicated in the original announcement how do oversights like this keep happening? its something the vocal side of the community has been crying for but it took yet again another load of crying to get another response about if its even happening with this big patch.
As mentioned in the announcement, we will be releasing more details over the coming weeks. You will also get the details on what gets put on the Public Test Server when we push changes over there to be tested. This was merely a short update to let you all know a patch is coming soon, with the key pieces of it listed in bullet point form. Metalkon gave some snippets in this thread of what to expect from the armor side of things, but there will be more information coming. The key point to take home is that these changes will be available for public testing, so it is best to not go overboard with your concerns until you get the chance to test things for yourself. If things need to be tweaked or altered based on community testing, we will have the opportunity to do so.
Love that movie what a classic lol... Yes the poll results are listed on the polls page publicly for anyone to view. We'll be basing combat changes largely based on those polls. During balancing I expect it won't match up 100% to the poll results though as there's likely some imbalances that will become quickly apparent.
the deploy on pts need to be soon. most of ppl is already super tired to wait the fix of current combat state.
Btw that would have been an incredible opportunity to post one singular photo (concept if no ingame model yet) of any armor piece you choose. Would have shut me up but good.
Looks interesting! Looks like metal so does that mean a veilron and neithal set will be added in this patch as well? Will we finally get a completed infernal set?

It's for testing things such as new additions to the game. Which negates the need to add in the resources early in an effort to allow people to test on live since they can test on the pts before the patch hits.
really? cmon man. So that is a good reason NOT to add it to live servers ahead of the patch so that people can actually use the new gear vs the old? without waiting week +? I know you cannot be this thick.
